Florence, sorry to hear Robin's ex is still like that. Sorry you're still in pain. I know what it's like. I'm 44 and barely go out. Carlota; back surgery all depends on who does it; what exactly is done and your own body. When I was fused at L5S1 the 1st time back in 2001, I only had an LT Cage, no rods. It never fully fused. Had i had rods added back then, who knows? Another surgeon put rods in, did something to the original fusion to help it along, plus fused a deformity in my sacrum; I am still feeling movement (feels like metal rubbing bone) as I walk plus I get pain where the rods are. They are trying to figure out what to do with me. I have horrible spasms in my muscles from my waist to my toes. One muscle deep in the butt is so very painful. I'm looking to possibly get the rods out; but that will be major surgery - when the rods went in, I didn't really drive for 8 months plus will go in for a pain pump trial again where the Dr will add something to calm the spasms. If I can get the pump to work this 2nd time I don't doubt it will help for a while. Right now, and for the last year, I haven't really had any quality of life. Imagine being in excruciating pain all the time. Meds only do so much.

Suzie, here is how you can make your wireless network more secure. Perform the following steps: 1. In your internet browser, type 192.168.1.1 and hit ENTER 2. If you are asked for a User name and Password, the default name for both of them is: admin If you want to create a unique User name and Password for this access, you can do so, but make sure you remember what it is, or write it down. This user name and password allows access to your Linksys Setup Page. You can keep the default, or create your own. By creating your own user name and password, you are creating another layer of security for your wireless network. 3. You should next see the Linksys Wireless Router Setup Page. Click on the Wireless tab at the top, and then you will need to give your wireless network a name at the Network Name(SSID) location. This is the name that everyone will see, just like how you saw your neighbors wireless networks. If you give it a unique name, people will see it, but they probably won't know that it is your network. A second option is just below this area. If you click on "Disable" for the SSID Broadcast, your network will not be visible to the other networks around you. After you have made all your choices, you must click "Save Settings" at the bottom of the page for your changes to take effect. You should then see a message that says "Settings are successful". 4.Next, under the same Wireless tab, click on "Wireless Security". At the Security Mode option, click the drop-down arrow and choose WPA2-Personal; then choose TKIP encryption if not already chosen. Then, VERY IMPORTANT...you will need to choose a passphrase. The passphrase will be used to sign into your network, make it by using a combination of letters, numbers, and other characters (exclamation point, asterisk, pound sign, etc.) so that it will be difficult for a hacker to figure it out. Write down this pass phrase, and put it somewhere that you can find it and it is secure. If you can memorize it, that is even better. After you have done this, click Save Settings at the bottom, and you should now have a much more secure network!!!

I am canceling my service with Comcast. I have the $4.99 charge to cover me in case I need to have a service call. Well in April I did have a service call as one of my two phone lines was not working. The technician who came out broke my phone and did not tell me that he broke it. I found that out much later -- it should have been a hint when he did not want me to hold the phone. Then he or Comcast put a $70.00 charge on my account. When I called Comcast, I told them about this, they admitted that it should not have been there and they told me that they would credit my account on the next bill, but that I was expected to pay it and they would issue a credit. I need to check the statutes but I don't think you can collect on disputed charges, especially when you are aware that YOU made the mistake. For the $70.00 that should not have been billed, they interrupted the service. I refuse to pay it and have notified my local jurisdiction and the FCC. If you are looking for a cable or internet or phone provider, don't walk past Comcast, run as fast and as far as you can.
