Very strange

Computer is working fine but now every time I go to the yahoo.com site where I have my stocks, the page freezes and the whole computer freezes. It doesn't happen with anything else and that site was fine yesterday. Anybody have any ideas what to do? Thanks so much. Evie

You've rebooted the computer and cleared cookies from your browser?

yes, I rebooted a few times because of the freezing. I also cleared everything.

Thanks for the replies. I do use the mower in lieu of a vacuum on hard surfaces around my home - ably takes the place of a separate vacuum - set deck height to lowest setting with bag in place. Very effective. Perhaps there is some grit on the street when I pick up my cuttings, or on my driveway. I definitely have some shaded out areas where little grass grows, but many leaves fall. I wonder why I never saw this sort of wear on my three-blade 42" Yardman Rider (same vintage as my LB). Anyhow, given a choice, I'll keep on using the mower the way I do and just plan on replacing the blade every (uh-hum) 20 years or so. That should do it. Caruso

Laurie, Lisa noticed it (as my back was turned) - it was the movement that caught her eye, the sheer size of it. I listened to the video again but no unusual sound as it moved from one flower to the next. Her mother-in-law had given her a huge clump of phlox and it was just sitting there, awaiting planting in front of the house. We were sitting around chatting when Lisa spotted it. Dave/Bragu, in the first photo the proboscis looks like two white lines and try as I might, I couldn't get a whole shot of it before it entered the flower. I get a kick watching the bees burrowing into a flower and then trying to get back out. It's a wonder they can fly...all covered with pollen!

Maybe in a weekend cabin? I'm not sure, I'd like to see the entire space, more photos. What comes to mind though is lack of ease in cleaning. I see surfaces that could collect dust, spray products that don't really appear 'wipeable'...

Un plug the router and modem for a while, then replug them in, modem first then router,

Sounds like a browser problem to me too. I agree with the preceding post to try using a different one.

Thanks everyone. I think I may have figured out the problem. I just noticed that Yahoo finance was 'upgrading' the site and they must have frozen it or something. I have no idea what, but I finally just deleted the whole site and redid it with their new, supposedly better, site. Hmmm, sure looks exactly the same! But thanks for giving me ideas.
