I can't find any information on this and with outlook so interconnected with IE I'm wondering if it is even possible at all, and if it is it would seem some setting within outlook on how to handle attachments.. zep516

I hope you don't mind but I do have another question about those type of programs. I have never used Quick Time or itunes, they were on my computer when I had it built. My question is what are the purpose of these programs and what are they used for? Please give me an example. I was use to Media Player because of my music and I learned how to put some music into the Media Player. With MS Office 2007 or 2000 just open Outlook and the setup window appears. Probably the same for other versions. Follow along and at some point you will probably be asked if you wish to make Outlook your default mail handler.

bob - I have 07 and that's why I couldn't figure out why I was having a problem. I just went to "help" at the top of Microsoft Outlook and clicked on Office Diagnostics and told it to diagnose and fix any problems. It went through the process and said there weren't any problems to fix, but now it works. I hope it sticks. Any ideas why that happened though? Laurie
