I am not getting these follow-up posts emailed to me even though i checked to have emails sent - so I didn't know there was more. I hope they keep supporting version 3 - since we have 5 xp computers between home and work. I do have FF4 on dd's laptop - but not quite sure how it's going for her. She said she didn't like it - and I offered to try above suggestions to make it appear more like she's familiar with. She wants me to in theory - but in reality never wants to hand over the computer to have me do it. When I have more leisure to try again, am I recalling correctly that I can have 2 firefoxes installed - one version 3, and one version 4? And I can use xmarks to sync bookmarks, etc. That way I can get used to ff4 - but go back to 3 for the times I need things to go smoothly and not tinker? Any special instructions for doing 2 firefoxes? Thank you. Lynn. PS - still wonder if anyone else if having the issue where responses don't get emailed to them. This happens now for all my posts the last month - on this and the cooking forum.

which toolbar? please you must give us more info than that, when you don't we just waste time guessing. What toolbar? what browser? what version of windows? What else is changed etc did you hit F11 by mistake and the whole area at the top of your browser is gone if so just hit F11 again that toggles full screen on and off.

I am a little confused here, by house pic do you mean the little icon of a house that is up on the top of your browser which should lead to your home page? Or do you mean you have an actual picture of your house somewhere? if you mean your home page a couple of things could have happened if you are being sent to a WOT red site you could have a re-direct infection on the machine that has hijacked your home page. Or you somehow changed your homepage to that site. It would help to know if you are using IE or fire fox and which version number Please always include that info. for firefox go to the page you want to set as your home page while on that page go up top click on tools options on the first tab (main) will be the startup area since you are on the page you want as your home page click on where it says use current page. For IE (not knowing your version) do the same go to the page you want to set as your homepage while using your IE, Click the arrow to the right of the Home button(house icon) , and then click Add or Change Home Page. In the Add or Change Home Page dialog box, click Use this webpage as your only home page.Click Yes to save your changes. let me know if it goes back to that other red wot page if so you do have a redirect infection.

Just grab the toolbar with the cursor and drag it back down to the bottom, to keep it from moving right click on it and choose to lock the toolbar, if it is currently locked you will need to unlock it to move it back down. When it is unlocked it can be moved to any edge by drag and drop.
