I use Yahoo mail, and all my mail from GW ended up in the inbox except the first ones from CindeeA and Laura1. Those two ended up in my bulk folder. The ones they sent after that came to my inbox. I'm pretty sure that I have gotten every message sent because no one has told me I have mail that isn't there. I sent Kat an email that she didn't get, but she sent me one just fine. I guess that's why it's good to give folks a heads up that they have mail coming. That way we know if it is working or not. Also because I can be a bit absent minded I save all my emails to a text file until I know it was recieved. That way if I have to retype it I don't forget what I wrote in the first place =) Tim

I have read before about users having this concern. When you say large how big do you mean? Is this an ISP e-mail account or an on-line you are using? Both tend to have account limits imposed. How long of a "send" period are you speaking of? Some accounts will time out. Do you have any other applications configured to be actively sharing bandwidth while you are trying to send the e-mail? Have you tried compressing the file into a .zip format and then sending it? DA

I use Hotmail (free) and often when I get emails from an AOL email addy, they won't open for me. Not sure why. They aren't anything like wonderful pics being shared, but rather things from the net that have been forwarded and forwarded, and forwarded...all with the names and addresses. What are the email programs involved? Are you maybe able to see the pics at the actual on line email site before or after they are downloaded to Thunderbird? Have you narrowed it down to it being Thunderbird for sure? Sue

Her email is not being rejected as Spam. What I tried to explain was the possibility that her Internet provider is allowing someone to send out Spam. If that is the case and SORBS are involved they would send the offending ISP a warning, if they heed the warning and close the spammer down all is well. However if they are tardy and fail to act then SORBS acts as an intermediary and blocks everything leaving that particular server. An internet provider can have numerous servers and if only one is involved in Spam then only that one gets blocked. That is why I asked if every email gets blocked or some. So.......... why not try this When the email is returned to the other person what is the reason given? Is it every piece or most of them getting returned? Have your friend right click on the returned message then click Properties, then Details then Message source. Bring this up to full screen and read down through the message. It seems likely that your server is allowing Spam to go out so her internet provider is blocking that server entirely. Look for the word SORBS - it may also be other companies but SORBS are big into this. Until that happens you are not going to know very much for sure.
