Live mail not sending e-mails

Having a problem with Live Mail not sending my outgoing e-mails. This has just happened in the last week or so, receives okay but doesn't send.

Have Windows 7, came on my computer, HP,that I bought about 6 months ago. This is the error message that comes up.

An unknown error has occurred.

Server: 'smtp.gotrain.org'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80070057

Protocol: SMTP

Port: 25

Secure(SSL): No

I'm not very computer literate and have no idea what's going on.

Maybe this will help you.

At the very bottom it mentioned a couple possibilities.
I had trouble just "wading through" their explanations to understand. (Smiles)

I have read before about users having this concern. When you say large how big do you mean? Is this an ISP e-mail account or an on-line you are using? Both tend to have account limits imposed. How long of a "send" period are you speaking of? Some accounts will time out. Do you have any other applications configured to be actively sharing bandwidth while you are trying to send the e-mail? Have you tried compressing the file into a .zip format and then sending it? DA

Copy the URL? Like anything else. Go up to the address bar, highlight the complete address, and copy and paste. Your email program probably has an option in the menu bar to paste it as a live link. That way the recipient can just click on it, rather than having to copy and paste it into their address bar.

If she wants a desktop program, it will depend on the operating system she has. If XP, then she can use Outlook Express and configure her Yahoo, Gmail, or whatever to download into that without going to the web site. If she has Windows 7, MS has a program called Windows Live Mail which she must install on her computer. Again, her mail can be configured to download to her desktop program. And there's Thunderbird which has been mentioned.

Thank you for the reply. I did delete everything, 2 items, in my outbox and it's working okay today. I did the same thing,deleting, a couple days ago and it didn't work, so who knows, maybe it just needed some rest time:)
