I have Cahaba Lily and Giant White Spider Lily if you're interested in them to trade for some of your unusual stuff like the one pictured with the purple looking flowers, crocosmia bulbs or rooted brug cuttings. Obviously plants that do well in the desert, indoors or out. Info on Cahaba can be found here: http://nativeplantsfromala.blogspot.com/2010/03/most-beloved-lily-in-alabama-cahaba.html\ They do grow in moving streams and rivers and I've also seen them in a very large pond in a greenhouse in San Francisco but I and others grown them here in the desert in the ground with average water. They usually bloom here in the late summer even in high temps well over 100 deg. The plants are very impressive even when not blooming. These are pretty large bulbs. The giant spider lily grows up to 5 or 6 ft. tall and produces 12 in. wide bloom clusters of 35 to 40 white 5in spider shaped blossoms which are very fragrant. Luckygal, I have been saving toilet shards for a while now, they were smashed up with a sledge hammer!!! I have about 2 five gallon bucks full right now so I will have to go get some more...our city just had a big toilet upgrade rebate, buy a new low flush and get $50 rebate, and the place I was working at was the recycle depot in town,so that's where I get the smashed toilets(they are destined to be recycled into aggragate for paving....)Here's my Throne, it is 4ftw x 6ft tall.(That big blue ashtray is just like someones ashtray here used for a totem....) Well, I am not trashing the daylilies, usually I just move them. As far as these ALL FIRED UP daylilies, when I bought it I bought the standard two fans. But I bought others from the same vendor at the same time. When the orfer came there was enough ALL FIRED UP for five clumplets. I had not planned on that. So I thought on were I could make a mini row and that was the spot I came up with. Now that the tree out front has come down this March, more sun and I am fixing up more of that area. So the row of daylilies that were just a stick em here cause I had to find a spot, were going to leave for more of a variety of cottagey style in that garden section. I am relocating one of the clumps and the others are spoken for. I find its not very difficult to give daylilies away.

Grover's renderings are right on. It was the crunched chairs & side table killing your look. You need some breathing room, a grounding rug & a designer to come sweep through & balance. GL :)
