I've really enjoyed looking at the pictures of everyone's beautiful kids, grandbabies, MIL, etc and thought I'd post my youngest DD's senior pics~hope it's ok. I had to block the studio's name, so they are kind of cut off.

thanks dd70. are you planning on installing them soon and can update on the stopper? I assume from what you posted, that they do have the stop. As far as the finish, is the copper similar to the ORB color Amerock has? A smooth dark finish (not rust or patina'd) with a little copper showing though? I'm using at least 4 different types of hardware and need to coordinate somehow, but the style you chose is gorgeous. You're right about the Top Knobs-no stops on the bail pulls (what are they thinking???) Other than what you chose, I am basically stuck with the birdcage bail pulls, and while they are OK, your style is much more elegant. Plus, I am not a fan of the pulls that match the birdcage.

OT, Woodie: my SIL named her baby daughter 'Shayna Linda'. We cracked up because I don't think she realized that she named her 'Pretty Pretty' - Yiddish and Spanish!

And my son and his wife named their poodle ( now 16 1/2!) Shayna Punim....but she's not so shayna as of late.....definitly an old lady...

LOL @ SharonH! They would be a very nice looking couple!

Nicole (younger DD) graduates HS in May. She's not sure what she wants to do but currently her thoughts are either bartending or working with disabled children. She works at a camp in the summer for children with moderate to severe physical disabilities and finds it interesting and rewarding. Bartending, on the other hand, "would be cool" and she feels she could do really well with tips (and sleep late, too). She now waitresses and likes food services.

She was severely hearing impaired until age 8 when she had her last restorative hearing operation - we fondly refer to her 'bionic ear'-lol. She's currently hearing at almost 100% although will need another surgery or two.

Is college in the picture too? Here in the US, most places (all?) need bartenders to be 21, to serve alcohol. Maybe she could work with the kids, then bartend?

Here in MA, you can bartend/serve alcohol at 18 years of age, you just can't drink it until 21 :). At this point the deal is DD will take a night school bartending class, BUT also take day classes at community college and work towards a degree -
