Wooo Hooo! It came all the way from Cali Fornia!!! Gina - I just loved the metal turkey sculpture made with forks and spoons! It is so adorable!

The ceramic bread plate will be put to use on Thanksgiving as well as the olive wood butter spreader!

The napkins have beautiful rust and gold print flowers with copper pumpkin napkin rings. I just love April Cornell!

What a super T-day box! I love all of it but am really Jonesing after those napkins and napkin rings...the turkey spoon sculpture..and the bread basket.....k I want it all!

But seriously I love the napkins and napkin rings, very nice.

I have some one year old Valiant grapes if you want some. I could dig them and bareroot them. if you wanted some Frontenac or Catawba, I could graft them over for you, as these will make a fine rootstock. I am all too familiar with clutter. So acquainted, in fact, that I think most of it has become permanent features to the house. We have so much stuff now, we are having to move & build a bigger house. All of this "clutter" is actually things that we need & use regularly. We are just running out of spaces to put things. My husband & I each have our own hobbies that require a room all to ourselves to store everything. My plants have taken over the only usable guest bedroom, our closest shelves are on the verge of falling off the walls, his computer room can barely contain what he has in there, my art room you have to be an expert rock climber to get around in. I have always been one of those people who has the compulsion to hide things. I have things stuffed away in all cabinets through out the house, on top of the cabinets & refrigerator, stuff is under the beds, in drawers with clothes-if it can fit in a spot, I will squirrel it away. It helps keep my house looking nice & tidy.

Yikes! I'm so sorry Janet! Having had a car totalled and a front porch damaged by hit-skip drivers, I'm always sympathetic by people who try to do the right thing and get nailed by the letter of the law. Admittedly, I've skated thru more than my share of mishaps. Just out of college, I got pulled over for going 45 in a 25mph zone. I explained to the cop that I'd come back from the Middle East and was having trouble with speed limits. He thought that was funny and let me off with a warning. Here in Columbus I was making a left turn on red (from a one-way street to a one-way street, perfectly legal.) But I wasn't watching and nearly hit a pedestrian. I was pretty shaken up, so when he started to yell at me I yelled back. He backed down and told me to be more careful in the future -- it wasn't until I was three blocks away that I realized the guy was a uniformed cop -- and we'd been right in front of police headquarters. A few years ago in July I was driving behind an SUV on a narrow downtown street with construction. The driver was on a cell phone and weaving back, and I felt very morally vindicated when a motorcyle cop pulled up behind us and turned the light on. Until I realized he was signalling me to pull over. With a sinking feeling, I realized my tags had expired on my birthday in January. (I apparently have issues with timeliness.) As I handed him my license I realized that my recently replaced license was also expired. I got my ticket and had to go to traffic court. (Renewed my tags and license before my day in court.) You sit for a few hours, then get 30 seconds with the attorney; sit back down and then get 30 seconds with the judge. The attorney said, because both had been expired six months, there would be a $250 fine and I would have to take the driver's test again. In the interlude before I went before the judge, I counted up on my fingers, and realized I had renewed 1 day short of six months. I explained that, took my $30 fine and was feeling pretty smug as I went out to my car. Where I found a $30 ticket on the windshield for an expired meter. If bad catches up with you, I think good should, too. Hope your lucky break catches up with you soon, Janet!

Okay, DS is down the street mowing lawns. My phone rings--it's him calling from his cell phone. DS: "Mom? Don't get excited, but the UPS truck is down the street." Me: "Really? Where is he?" DS: "4 houses down, delivering a package." Me: "Oh, I hope I won't have to answer the door, I'm still in my robe!" (frantically runs to bedroom to throw on sweats) DS: "Wait! Here comes FedEx! I'm glad you got it in time for the holidays Maria - and in one piece too. I always sweat that. Note my unique packing techniques, LOL. I thought the spoon-and-fork turkey was too cute. Gobble-Gobble!

That turkey is adorable! I mean, the napkins and rings are lovely and the bread platter is great, but the turkey is awesome. Hands down the coolest thanksgiving decoration I've ever seen. :) Great job Gina!

Wherever did you find the sporky turkey? ( I've been using the word spork a lot lately). It is a hoot and cute as can be. I never see clever things when I shop.

Love the bread tray. Love the napkins and those charming rings. Good good good.

I see you used an autumn/Thanksgiving theme, which seems so appropriate now. The turkey is too cute! I love olivewood also. Very appropriate for someone who loves earth and autumn colors! Very nice theme!!

If River says the linens are good, I believe her. She has cred on that one. Can't wait to see if she sends another Garnier Thibault tea towel. Hey Gina I noticed you sent two napkins and two rings. Is that a hint to the parental units or to the BF?

Gina- sporky Turkey is getting lots of smiles - it's decorating the kitchen table - I really will use them if I ever get my kitchen back from the units and actually cook for the picky-eater bf.

Sporky...perfect name, lol. He's great. We have his distant cousin....a goofy looking bird made of rebar and horseshoes. Uncle Gordon was very poud of his creation, lol.

The napkins are gorgeous and the tray is perfect. I love olivewood. Nice choices, Gina.
