John my image above is a screenshot from my Office Outlook which is very different from the free Outlook. Do you save many emails? If you are a casual saver then you could copy the email contents and paste into a word processing program. Every PC has Wordpad installed if you have nothing better. You could right click on My documents and create a new folder to save them in. Just a thought. If you are like one lady I know that would not work, she has around 3000 emails with over 1000 unread. Seems like built in aggravation to me but to each his/her own I suppose.

Thanks for the advice guys, I appreciate it... the reason the picture I posted here is 104K is because photobucket resized it... the original is 1.32 MB. It is the same size as photos I've posted successfully to the forum on other computers... the same size as other photos that is why I think the problem is with this computer and the way it is dealing with file size... this is the only computer I have this problem on! I will play with Irfanview. I just realized something... apparently, before on my old machine (and on other computers) they are being converted to a smaller size automatically... here's what I mean Here's a link to a thread I posted over a year ago about a vacuum that a friend restored for me.... the pictures of the machine itself and the guy resoring it for me are all under 300K on the forum itself, but they are still on my memory card and they are all about 1330K on my memory card and I never changed anything about them. Is there some kind of setting where the computer automatically reduces them that I don't know about? The size posted on that thread is definitely sufficient, but it seems now that I have to make them much smaller (in size).... I still have those same pictures on my memory card and they will not post unless I reduce them significanly (I can tell whether or not something is going to post by doing preview mode, so I don't have to submit a new thread thread when I test something) Any help would be adored and appreciated... I think I'm just missing some setting or something.... I have the Kodak Easy Share, and it works the same way on both my XP and Vista computers. I did not install any driver for the camera. I did install the Kodak program. Once the program is installed, leave the camera off, hook up your usb cable to both the computer and the camera. Now open easy share software. Turn on the camera. You should get up a box, that says, windows has detected new hardware, and it will install a driver for the camera. Once done, Kodak, will come up with a box, to transfer all the pictures. I dont store my pictures in Kodak (it does keep a copy though, that I delete later). I have gone into preferences, and have all photos,directed to go to a folder on my desktop. Your camera, most likely is different than mine, since mine is a couple years old, but my grandaughters is much newer than mine, and she has no problems, putting her pictures on my computer using this method, and my daughter recently got a new Kodak, and she had no problem putting them on my computer either. The comments here are very valuable to me. The one thing I don't have in common with most of you is most of you can do your own software installation. I looked at Dell and they don't have the same menu where you can customize. I need Win 7 or 8 and i use Outlook and I want that installed with Microsoft. Do you all think it is easy to install what I need without using a big box store for help? I have nothing good to say about Best Buy. They did me wrong and I'm buying a PC desktop much sooner than I should have to since I've had for only 4 1/2 years. In the DC area IT people who can come and charge a grateful sum don't exist. Do you find that if your area? Has anyone tried a place called Micro Center. They are in the Washington DC area and may have stores other places. It's just a longshot.
