you would have to go to your control panel then to add remove programs wait for the list then look in that list for your AOL 10.0 click it to select it then hit the remove button. that is how to remove a program. Just trying to remove the icon for it that is on your desk does nothing but remove that icon it has no effect on the program. You can also try this, click start> all programs> in the list find AOL 10.0 click on it and see if it says there is an uninstaller if so you can select the uninstaller and try to use it. I would still go to start> control panel> add remove programs and make sure it is gone from there too.

Gmail, as far as I know, does not have a mail program. It is web based email that could also be accessable via typical POP settings with Outlook Express or some other email program. What other email program do you have set as the default program ?
