Pansies are cool weather plants, they poop out in the heat, and I'm assuming you had a heat wave like we did. Also, are the baskets in sun or shadier conditions? Pansies prefer sunny conditions, the taller stature and smaller blooms lead me to believe there is too much shade. In any case, I recommend getting some warm-weather annuals to replace if you want a summer-long show in the heat/humidity. :0)

Greenman, It is computer voodoo and it is designed to make you crazy. Sometimes threads actually do disappear, and we don't know why. Your newbie thread is still there--I just clicked on it and got it after a 10 to 12 second delay. Just in case you're still having trouble, I'll relink the second previous thread--the one with Randy's mix in the first response and my mix in the second response, either of which I think would work just fine for your shrub. I did this recently and it's not too bad. I had a laptop with a black screen. My wife has the same model, and she had a problem with sticky keys (I think a spilled soda may have been involved, but I didn't want her to feel bad, so I didn't ask). I found the same model with a bad motherboard on ebay. I was able to get a spare power cord and battery, display, keyboard and memory chip for less than the cost of any one of those items would normally be. Replacing it wasn't too bad. I basically had to take out a few screws, lay it flat and remove the display from the base, then put it back together. Replacing the keyboard was almost the same. I think I googled the model number and "replace display" to find some pictures of how to get it all disconnected.

Hi, Genes. I don't have a scroll wheel or a mouse. Just a touchpad. I tried holding down the control key while running my finger in different directions over the touchpad - and also while hitting the right or left touchpad key - and also while hitting the directional arrow keys. Nothing changed. Any other things I can try? This also happens on google search pages. So it's a google thing. my other tabs - sites - are fine. Unfortunately that means that when I click on help from gmail - I get these teeny unreadable pages. Thanks. Lynn.
