2 tsp/gal thats what is used for Captan. Don't know about DO. Do you use a germinating mat? That helps preventing damping off.

RE: "I just want to print a part of the page as highlited" Absolutely the best way that I have found to do any type of screen capture is to use FastStone Capture - selections, scrolling pages, windows, etc. Loads of options and you can choose printer, file, editor, etc. Click Settings Tab then Settings on the drop down menu (it is so obvious that you don't realise at first that there are 2 menus). It is a small programme that can run all the time without affecting the computer's performance, or just start it when you need it. My link is to the last free version that will do everything ever needed although there is a newer paid version that does even more! right at the top of each page on a google book there is a little bitty icon of a magnifier glass with + and - if you click on that + it enlarges the text of the book itself, click for larger and larger text. It is up next to where it says the contents.

Linda, I also prefer the portable sewing machines. I have a Husqvarna machine, made in Sweden, which I've had for over 15 years, and I also have an overlock machine, which is even older. I bought the Husqvarna because it had the most stitches suitable for knits and the fewest stitches that I would never use. I don't know what machines are like today, but I didn't like the computerized machine that I used to have. Once the program stopped working, it would have cost more to fix the machine that it was worth, and that's when I replaced it. The manual portable machines have fewer problems and are easier to fix when they do. I also like Mitch's idea of inserting a glass container for flowers, but I doubt I will ever use it for flowers. Because the opening is very small (considering the overall width), I would not be able to get a very large container inside. I could make an acrylic liner, however, as I have worked with acrylic before and have the tools for making the seams. Lars
