I'm having an alike issue. Last year, my family asked our crew helping transform our yards if they could build a slightly curved mural wall to draw interest to our backyard and divert eyes from the ugly telephone pole and wires. They completed the project however we soon realized a bit on a miscommunication… The wall was stucco. I rolled with it, asked my Father-in-law to buff out the area I wanted to paint. I used a tile-decal I got on an `Etsy` store to help piece together the boarder. Now I’m ready to start my artwork inside. I’d love to find a good quality tape to stick onto the surface of the stucco so that I won’t have paint dribbles onto my boarder. I already worked hours on the boarder itself so it would pain me if it was ruined. If anyone has any suggestions of good tape that truly sticks to stucco, let me know.

I have a mask story to add (not a rant , since none of my loved ones were endangered). A few weeks ago, I ran into an old friend. She lives, and works, in the small village where I grocery shop, and we were both there during designated senior hours. She recognized me, although I was wearing a mask, but she wasn't wearing one. I asked if she had a mask, and she said that she had only one, disposable, which she was saving for the days she had to take her father to his medical appointments. I asked if she'd like me to make her a fabric mask, and she graciously accepted. I dropped it off to her the same day, with some shop towel filters, as I was on my way to drop off my father's groceries. Today, as I was leaving the grocery store, she was arriving--sans mask. I jokingly asked why she wasn't wearing her mask, and she said that she didn't think she needed it unless she was in close quarters with others. When I pointed out that by wearing a mask she was protecting others, she responded that she didn't need it because she's "been good." I'm disappointed that I gave her one of my nice, 600TC Egyptian cotton face masks, and she doesn't wear it. :[ At least she has it if she changes her mind.

If the stair is at an angle, is the handrail wall is at an angle too (parallel to the load bearing wall)? Is the upper floor framing parallel to the front wall (I see the wood floor at the top tread looks angled) - would rotating the stair fix both tile and upper wood? Or, are the stair treads cut as a trapezoid shape (e.g. 34" long at top tread, 36" long at bottom tread)? is there another 1/2 flight down on the other side of the handrail wall? So if the stair is inherently square as a unit in and of itself, it would be easier to rebuild the handrail wall and rotate the stair as a unit to align perpendicular to the front wall. Then fur out the load bearing wall perpendicular to the front wall too, instead of dealing with angled millwork.

Thanks for the update, chisue. Sorry to hear the rx is messing with your skin. Is it drying out you skin? How many days does the Rx treatment messed you up? Do you feel blah for days after? Thirty pounds less wouldn’t seem like much extra skin, but to you, it might feel awful or uncomfortable. Yes, carolb, some people who lose 100 or more pounds can have annoyingly sagging skin. For those who can get surgery, that must be an enormous relief. Wishing you the best, chisue and it must be so exhausting nd difficult to cope with the illness AND the treatment. Medical research is always in a race to find effective and better treatments. Hold on. I hope you have a good support system — perhaps others w MM or similar, family and friends. And I hope you can continue with your interests and activities. Sometimes I come across articles on various conditions like MM. You likely are on top of new info, but if you’d like, I will try to post links to any I come across. The costs of being ill can be immense. I recently wanted to treat itchy milia and the doc wrote a prescription for something called TRETINOIN. The pharmacy said it needed approval from inssurer. Cost without insurance is about $186. The cheapy insurance said my CO-PAY would be $145. Yikes. I’ve never used it, don’t know how effective it will be or even how long that supply of ? ounces would last. I might need to invest in a salt or sand blaster, or brillo pads. Would it be worth a trip to Mexico or Canada? LOL
