I use Road Runner for my email and I have to log in to see if I have Junk emails because sometimes Road Runner will place an email from a forum I post in, and place it in the Junk Folder. So anytime I post in the forum and expect a reply, I have to check Road Runner to see if it went in the Junk file. I check Road Runner every time I get email during the day. If the junk file gets a lot of junk emails, I have to empty it to keep it from building up.

You might also read the first response afterwards as he/she rants on about saving emails in OE rather than using a backup frequently. But get your problem cured before worrying about that methinks. PhotoRec is the reliable old standby for photo recovery, as Joe mentioned in the first post. But it's not so mouse click user friendly. Assuming the photos are on the internal memory, if you want to give it a try you need to get it into camera mode or "USB mass storage mode" so the memory will show up as a drive on your computer. You can "recall" a message that hasn't been opened by the recipient if you and the recipient are both on the same corporate e-mail network and the ability to recall messages has been activated by the mail administrator. Having said that, however, it's not always a "hidden recall." For example, if you work someplace that uses Microsoft Exchange servers with Microsoft Outlook as the e-mail client, you can recall a message if the recipient hasn't opened it, BUT the recipient gets another e-mail that states in the subject line that you want to recall the message, and they have to click on it (the recall notice) to allow it to retract the original message. Oftentimes, the recipient will become curious as to why you want to recall the message, so they'll open the original message to read it (before clicking on the recall notice). Then it cannot be recalled. I fondly remember the days when we used WordPerfect Office for DOS, with WordPerfect e-mail. It allowed you to see if a message had been opened by the recipient; and if it hadn't, you could recall it without the recipient ever knowing that you'd sent a message... The good old days!
