comcast email box huge

My mailbox at comcast says I have 184 emails in my inbox; when I click on the inbox, it says it's empty. My mail goes to comcast and on to outlook express. I know there are not 184 emails in outlook express as I read and delete daily. Where are these emails comcast is talking about. Also, I delete the emails and they disappear and weeks later, my recycle bin shows a huge bin full of stuff, not necessarily this email trash. This happens after emptying the bin every other day. ...any clues here?

I assume they are talking about at your actual comcast email not at the outlook express client. Log on to your comcast and go directly to the comcast email there and see if you have emails there.

I use Road Runner for my email and I have to log in to see if I have Junk emails because sometimes Road Runner will place an email from a forum I post in, and place it in the Junk Folder. So anytime I post in the forum and expect a reply, I have to check Road Runner to see if it went in the Junk file.
I check Road Runner every time I get email during the day. If the junk file gets a lot of junk emails, I have to empty it to keep it from building up.

All the dhlia tubers are gone, but I do have BUNCHES of large red cannas available! make me an offer would trade 2 to one for unknown dalhlias or 3 to one for named dahlias! another reason why i check the box, is because half the dang time i forget where the heck i left a message, so when i started posting and then i found that precious little box, OMGoodness!! that was so awesome!! Hee Hee!! i was glad, because i used to go all over the place just to see how big this place is, and well its just huge, then i'd forget where iwas. and of course where i posted something, or i'd see something that would catch my attention. i still do that and forget. LOL but ya know. LOL ~Medo p.s. who is that familiar face up there????? **big grinn**

Oh dear. I am a shame to the Brug-Loving community! I love shaping my plants. I even use florist's wire to shape my Nandinas and my Christmas Tree for gosh sakes! So you can imagine my shock at reading this post. All those years of pruning my Precious Brug, whacking off long branches that I felt didn't 'belong', branches that didn't shoot off in the right direction. Pulled down branches and set them with wire so that they would shade my Kalanchoe plants. If one of the thinner branches were touching the Kalanchoe, it got whacked off. Hard, wood branches! And what have I been doing with a total of a ton of branches all these years? The Recycle Bin and out on the curb on Thursday night for pick-up on Friday morning! ACK ACK ACK! Now that I think back, I've probably put thousands of dollars worth of brug cuttings on the curb...ACK ACK ACK! ::sigh::

You can also probably just go to the isp main page www.comcast.net and click the Msil icon. Then you should be into the webmail to read/send whatever - the things that you have not downloaded with your Outlook mail program. If you need to access your home computer from work you ideally might try windows remote desktop if your version of windows supports it, otherwise one of the free VNC programs are pretty simple yet a bit clunky. VNC = Virtual Network Computing. Pretty popular program.

I am talking about my Comcast email; when I log in to the account and go to my in box , there are no emails there. Yet, they tell me there are 184 emails in my account.

ah it sounded to me like you were saying that you check your comcast mail through outlook express not directly from the comcast site, that was why I suggested going directly to the comcast email account itself rather than the outlook express.

I would think you may have to contact comcast and find out.

I don't use Comcast, but every email account I have ever used has had a "Sent" folder that would save all the emails I sent out. Some give me the options of turning off this feature and some didn't. You might check to see if you have a "Sent" folder and see if that is where the large email count is coming from. Just a thought......

That's a good idea. My sister never realized they were saved there and she found hundreds of them there.
