Adjust Scrolling Speed .. How?

I am 'usually' pretty good at finding answers to my questions .. If not here then through Google search.

Maybe I just couldn't figure out the correct search terms on this one but .. for the life of me .. I've had no luck at all, this time.

My primary browser is Opera.

Scrolling, using the mouse wheel is set perfectly (up/down) just the way I want it.

Different story on IE and Firefox!

On both browsers, the scrolling is 'painfully' slow and I have found no way to change the settings for them?

Hope I have made some sense here?

I always thought that when you set your preferences for your mouse and keyboard settings .. These settings worked in whatever browser you were using?

(Microsoft wireless comfort keyboard and Mouse)

Hm...I thought so too!

Here's a link that shows how to do this in Firefox.

I'll search for one for Internet Explorer unless someone else beats me to it. I'm off to work. Sorry.

Scrolling, using the mouse wheel is set perfectly (up/down) just the way I want it.

Are you physically turning the wheel to move 3 lines at a click/time or do you press down to click the wheel then drag the mouse up or down to move the page?

Trying both methods in Chrome, FF, Opera and IE I saw no real difference in my performance. Pressing the wheel to click in place the page sped up or down sped along as I moved the cursor further from the anchor spot set by clicking the wheel.

Heh heh, I found Opera, FF and IE all needed updating before I could try them, didn't realise I had been using Chrome for so long

If you have a good memory, and can remember how it goes back together, don't bother to make a sketch of it, but--- Any way, remove the brake rod from the caliper arm, then unbolt the parts, using plenty of PB Blaster penetrating oil. Soak the parts in some cleaning liquid, or kerosene, and sand any rust off the disc. Inspect the brake pad. If it is thin, get a new one. check the 2 little round pins in the assembly-those need to move in and out freely! In a pinch, you can install a backing pad to move the brake pad closer to the disc. After you get everything moving freely, reassemble the brake parts to their original places. Hook up the brake rod. Adjust the center bolt so the brake works good again. The sketch you made (or didn't) will help you to get everything back in correctly! (Ask me how i know this pertinent fact!) Having the identical brake on another machine helped in that problem!

One caveat...which is really a non-issue because EVERYONE who buys a Speed Queen does it. Government regs require that Speed Queen deliver their conventionally-designed machines with a fill-limiter that only "fills" the tub about 70% of actual full. Problem solved in about five minutes by removing three screws on the panel, tilting it forward, and adjusting a 1/4" limiter screw so that it fills all the way. Several youtube videos show how it's done. With zero previous experience, I accomplished this in minutes. Small deal, IMHO. After you do this, the tub will fill ALL the way when set to "full" but still allow smaller-fills by adjusting the panel-dial normally. I regard this gov't limit as quite ridiculous but that's what the manufacturer is saddled with. EVERYBODY who buys one of these machines does it. Otherwise, I would say the machine operates pretty much exactly like those Maytags of old except that 1) the tub is bigger 2) the agitation is better 3) the thing digests unbalanced spin-loads much better and 4) all rinses are tap-cold....no option for "warm" rinses.

@emma darling, if you go here, and scroll down to the bottom of the page, you can see the MSDS Sheet for the ALL Powder. https://smartlabel.henkel-northamerica.com/00072613456819/p/page-1 On the official sheet, it mentions a percentage up to 0 - 1%, which, if true, would make absolutely no sense. The same figure is used for the Zeolite Content, which would also, from my chemistry experience, make no sense either. I do not think these figures are even remotely accurate. If I had to guess, I would imagine that the product is about 10 - 15% Sodium Percarbonate, but keep in mind, that's a estimate. As for the Detergent Snob thing. You wouldn't be alone. I know a lot of People who are completely brand loyal, and would give up Food before giving up their favorite brand of Detergent. Like I said, the formula is very similar, and a lot of members seem to like the product. It's worth a try, especially for the cost.

owbist I just turn the wheel back and forth or some would say up and down to scroll.

I don't know about the jumping lines stuff because when I scroll it is just as smooth as .. Well, you know. 8)

Saying that, even after changing the scroll speed in Firefox .. it is nothing like using Opera.
(Kind of a 'lumbering' type of scrolling .. Too much like work! lol)

Opera is so 'smooth' with no jumping and the control is just as "sweet" as you could ever want.

I'm beginning to think that this feature is within Opera itself .. Just like the magnifying feature.

I don't care what add-on or extension you use in Firefox or IE for magnification .. Nothing comes close to Opera for that feature!
