Bob, as of today, I am intimately involved with every worthless feature of my printer. lol I tried that, I click on it, change it to 400% and it reverts right back to 100. So I turned on the poster option and picked the one that looks like it's 4 times bigger than a regular page and nothing happens, it just freezes up and doesn't print at all. Grrrrr! I'm thinking that should really do it, but what do I know? I give up. I'll stop by a Kinko's or something and use one of their copiers and save myself the aggravation of this thing. Chances are I'll never even use it, but dangitall, I wanted to figure it out! Thanks for trying to help me, though, I do appreciate it!

............ not those I make up myself. I think I can do those with no problem. ..... If you can create a PDF file then use the same program to open this one. Most of us have just the simple PDF reader as we do not need to create PDF files. If you cannot open it then the pictures can be had by taking a screen shot and editing it in your photo editing program. Place the photo where it is fully visible then tap the 'Print Scrn' or 'PRN SCRN' key next to your F12 button. Open your photo editor, right click in the work space then click Paste in the pop up. Crop to your liking and name it.

I just wanted to update my post that my computer is back to norm. The PDF issue was solved using the download Raven suggested and works fine. Still can't open PDFs w/ Adobe Reader, but the other program does the job and evidently my clients can open them via email as well which was the important part. The jumping cursor issue was quite baffling. After doing many days of research, I found that the issue goes back to the early 2000s on all kinds of 'puters. I couldn't type anything without the damn cursor jumping around constantly and inserting text where it didn't belong. BUT, finally, it dawned on my when I did my OS re-install and downloaded the touchpad mouse driver (though I use an external one via the USB), I didn't choose that I had a 32bit system. It had automatically loaded the 64bit driver which was apparently causing the issue. Duh!! It took me 2 weeks to figure it out, but I did. No jumping cursor and no more crashing computer. She's quite speedy now. I appreciate everyone's help.

Take a look at Zamzar.com I first used it a couple of weeks ago and my conversion is still flying around out there in cyberspace. Several members have been successful with it and do recommend it. Be advised it is not a secured site so you would be wise not to use critical or personal data. DA
