I've lost my tool bar up top.

There is no tool bar, edit, file, etc. windows 7, Firefox.

Right click on an empty spot on whatever tool bar you have at the top and put a check in front of 'menu bar' on the drop down menu.

I don't have an option for "menu bar" in the drop down.

I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one who feels like that sometimes! We all work so hard on our gardens and have dreams of what it could be and then when nature throws hail and bad weather at us - it is just a little hard to accept.... If it were not for my newest front bed around the pin oak tree next to my driveway (which still looks great), I don't know what I would do! I did lose a bunch of heuchera, but most of the hosta in this bed look great - as opposed to the horrible way the hosta in the back yard look. The ones that look the best are Francee, Blue Mammoth, June, Guacamole, Christmas Tree, Pizazz, Paul's Glory, Abiqua Drinking Gourd, Dream Queen, & Krossa Regal. All of my potted babies from the White Oak sale look great and with the cool weather we had on Sunday, they all got planted (YAY!) Everything Ken says about gardening around maples has proved true for me... I just moved a few sad-looking backyard hosta and their rootballs were full of fine, maple roots and their leaves are crispy and ugly. Maybe I will switch to SEDUM there instead!!! BettyLu

Toolbar wasn't locked. Whats a vertical drag bar? And how would I drag open the address bar if I don't have or see one? Sorry, I'm obviously very inexperienced and confused. I do remember moving a "separator" to inactive because I couldn't see it or know what it did. So I've put it back but still dont see anything there. (By the way, because I didn't see it I added it again and the word separator went in again.But still don't see anything.) Please don't laugh. I'm really trying.Thanks, Sandy

At this point I would keep the 'repairs' as simple as possible. Often, using too many things to hide one (OK, more than one) error can end up making things even worse. First, do what you planned and paint the room the color of the grout. Once you get the wall painted the grout will be less noticeable. Hang the curtain and finish the bathroom. To hide the edge even more, you could hang two shower curtains and have tie-backs on each side. If the deep grout line on the edges still bother you after that, take a dremel tool and and cut it so that you have a straight edge to put wood trim up against........then install a piece of wood molding. Right click in a blank part of your tool bar and then choose customize. You'll get a screen that looks like this one. Just click on the "Search" and drag it back to the tool bar. Then click on the green "exit customization" button in the lower right.

If you are referring to when you use Firefox then do as Bob says once you have opened FF but right at the top of the screen. Mine top is blue I presume yours will be as I rarely personalise stuff like that

The very top of the page (probably blue) won't bring up the menu.

Right Click anywhere on a blank gray area at the top of the page and it should bring up the appropriate menu. Then put a checkmark in front of Menu Bar.

I think someone suggested hitting F11 here at one time. At least, that is what I have marked down to restore toolbar. Won't hurt to try it.

Phyllis is absolutely correct regarding F11. It will extend the browser window, and return it to normal. As far as I know it is generic on all browsers. Right now on FF I am viewing this site page with no other exposure. By moving the cursor to the top of the screen the basic Toolbar and Address Bar drop down for use, then disappear again.

Every user should try it on all their browsers to see the potential benefit of using F11. Trying it will not hurt anything.
