you have 25.. do one.. and see what happens ... undoubtedly.. it will reform a new leader.. or three.. and go back to height within a few years .. since there is no root disturbance... they were improperly planted in the wrong spot.... they have to go.. period ... if it were me.. i would think about taking every other one out.. and replanting new ones.. out 5 feet or so ... and since you really wont be planting anything else that close to the house.. i would just cut the trunk flush ... and forget about the roots ... they will rot in time ... and when the new ones start growing.. remove the other ones.. this will leave some privacy.. if that is the issue... while you start some new privacy .... etc ... you have trees that can easily go to 50 feet or more... planted ON YOUR HOUSE... i will blame the prior owner.. lol ... a picture would sure help us to understand what you are dealing with.. and where you might go with this .... because i am not sure that 25 new ones.. is worth the cost .... you do have so many other options in life ... good luck ken

That's so cool, ml. I'm sure you have a long list of fantastic stories and memories from the race. What fun ... combined with a lot of work I would think. My husband just earned ASA 101-104 certification in the BVI a couple weeks ago, so we're looking forward to a little sailing this summer and in the BVI next winter with friends who also took the course. We're only experienced in power boating, so this will be a new adventure for us. He's interested in a Hobie Wave or a similar small cat so we can practice right from the beach.

Hello, I have the same issue with letters and numbers fading away around the knobs on my LG electrical range that is over a year old. I had to print the image of the panel from the internet and post it above my range so that I know which way to turn my dials. This is outrageous! Prior to buying this range, we had to dispose of another range that was only 4 years old because the panel plastic was peeling off, and it would have cost us over $400 to replace the panel. Unfortunately LG does not stand behind their products and does not offer any solutions to correct manufacturing defects, their products have become of very poor quality unless you pay for the top of the line appliances… Does anyone have a solution as to how to fix the problem with disappearing letters and numbers? I would greatly appreciate it!

Again, thank you all for your kind words. Just a bit of love in times like this means the world to us. One problem that either of them don't have is not enough love and attention. My mom and dad give both of them sooo much attention and love its not even funny!! Seehr and Daisy have actually been playing together!! They have been so cute lately. Last night I went over there with my two dogs (Star-Lite my adult & Deuce my puppy) and they just played like crazy!! Seehr was right in the middle of the two puppies!!! I couldn't believe it, but my mom said that Seehr and Daisy play like that all the time! :-) It was sooo cute!! My husband and I started training Deuce (our pup) to sit and take treats easy the other day, and I decieded to try it with Daisy. Within 10 minutes she had it down!! My mom and I were SOOO proud of her. My mom thought she might be too little still because she is only about 4-5 pounds, but I told her that Daisy is the same ago as Deuce (7 weeks tomorrow) and she could do it. Mom was so excited that she started working with her with more stuff like that also. :-) Daisy is a blessing to my mom because of the void that she is filling missing my brother (her son). grrrr....Deuce is sitting in the other room right now just crying his head off. Does anybody know what I should do about that?? He has been outside, ate, has toys, but should I just ignore him?? Its so hard to do that because I just want to go in there and see what he wants!! I just want to make him better, but then on the other hand I know that if I do that, everytime he wants something he will just cry instead of him coming and telling me. RIGHT?? Ohhhh... he just stopped! ... ... ... I just went and looked in there and he is sleeping on his blanket in the living room! Its so funny, Star-Lite just looks at him like "Knock it off Deuce" when he starts crying. lol Its so cute!
