I too asked that question, albeit in a slightly different form in a recent post. I understand it is partly because the photos are removed from photobucket by the owner. There was a thread last year I think about this self same thing! Is there, perhaps, another more technical reason? I am compulsively going throught the 67 pages of posts and I too am frustrated by the, apparently, beautiful pictures that are no longer there! I find the garden design photos very inspiring, so not to be able to see some of them is disappointing. I also find the photos of particular hostas very helpful as the quality is often better than the older Hosta Library photos, and we can often see the hostas in their mature and immature forms. Different conditions make hostas look different, so the comparison of multipe photos in a thread is invaluable. So I implore all of you who add photos to posts, please could you leave the links to photobucket for just a little bit longer? Jakki

I am not trying to make light of your situation....I know that you are worried about it being cancer. It's only natural that you would be worried. That's our human nature at work. But, let's just look at things from another angle. Sure, that lump could turn out badly. You could also get hit by a car and smashed into the pavement. You could get hit by something falling from a window in a building. Someone could go crazy and start shooting at everyone, including you. You could slip in your bathtub and bang your head enough to mess up your brain. There are hundreds of bad things that could happen to you. You could even get food poisoning at lunch today and die before tomorrow. Do all of those possible bad things send you into tears? Every day that we walk this wonderful earth may be the last day that we have because bad things happen to good people. Live for the good things that you have today. Don't waste your time crying about what might happen tomorrow. And for the technicians and doctor that didn't behave as you felt they should.....There are people, unlike you, that would complain because the tech wasn't serious..."she just kept smiling." The medical staff has to walk a narrow path between being too blunt and too friendly. Not everyone does it well. What bothers one patient, is just exactly what another one is looking for. One wants to given ALL the facts. Another doesn't want to know anything. How is the tech supposed to know how YOU feel? And so you are "distressed and upset." About what? It sounds as if there is little chance that you have a worry. As the tech said...if the doctor was worried, a biopsy would be done very soon. There would be no waiting to see what happens in six months. It doesn't work that way. A doctor would NOT take a chance like that. But, on the other hand, a GOOD doctor knows that strange and unexpected things happen and she wants to look again later. Take care of yourself. Talk about it with your friends if you feel comfortable with talking. It may help you. Let us know how you are getting along.

Thanks ladies! The pattern is called "Sawtooth Cats", designed by Janet Miller and put out by The City Stitcher. It is one of those patterns that comes in a zip lock baggie. As far as I can tell the body of the cats are like the New York Beauty pattern, but I have never made a NY Beauty so I'm not totaly sure. The points weren't too bad since it was paper pieced. I'm one of those lucky people who strated sewing curved pieces before some one told me they were supposed to be difficult so that part wasn't tough. I must say the borders were enough to drive me crazy after a while. The cat faces were supposed to be stitched on, but I cheated and used pigma pens. They show up well in person, but not so much in the picture. This is the first quilt that I went totaly wild with the quilting. Normally I'm pretty blah with the quilting part. I tend to stitch in the ditch way too much.lol This time I did chains of hearts on the sashing, diamonds on the cat backgrounds, outlined the stripes on the cats and put one heart on each cat body. Yep, this one is for me:) The quilt I'm working on now is for a baby shower gift. It's the Yellow Brick Road pattern that took a small detour.lol All I can say is if you are doing that pattern follow the directions to the letter. If you don't I have tips for saving the quilt! Phuong - Am I right in thinking that you use pots for your roses? If that's the case....you could cut some paper/plasti/cardboard into the shape of the pot and have a radius point cut through. Then you open the radius part and slip it around the rose. If it's midge/thrips...they can't fall into the pot and pupate....and every time you water, make sure you take the cardboard off....then put it back on. If you see tiny midge/thrips on the cardboard/paper/plastic (or whatever you use) you can squish them or spray them or something. This is just a thought...I've never tried it.
