need help removing generic downloader.h virus

I keep getting a popup from my McAfee that I have a trojan virus and the name of it is Generic Downloader.h trojan and cannot be cleaned. How do I get rid of this? When I go to Delete the infected file or Quartine the infected file it just tells me that it can't be cleaned. When I click on the popup to tell it I want to continue what I was doing it just keeps coming back up in the bottom right hand corner.

Sometimes I can get on a web site but most times it just clicks on then goes back to where it was and won't let me in. Also if I am lucky enough to get into a web site I can't see any pictures that are there. All I get is the little red box in the left corner.

My outlook express is fine. I can see pictures on newletters that I'm subscribed to and no problems with email.

I keep a 2006 McAfee on my computer running at all times and lately I've run Norton 2004 and also tried a2 squared and adaware but McAfee keeps popping up telling me I have this Trojan found.

I'm using Win.2000 with IE6 and Outlook Express.
