Thanks for all the well wishes! I will have to go over there this weekend and take pictures. It was so hot last weekend that I didn't feel up to doing anything. Bob cut down some branches on the neighbor's tree that was taking over our side yard. Hopefully they won't even notice. lol Lots of weeding to be done. There are some pretty hostas, the old standby orange daylilies and a pretty red barberry bush that is planted too close to the house in the front. I'm tempted to transplant it to the backyard but those dang prickers! Some kind of small tree needs to be cut down in the back. It's growing up right next to the house over the airconditioner. Bob and I were at HD looking at things for the house. I was looking at floor tile and when the clerk asked if he could help me, I said, "No, I'm just dreaming." lol Flooring, lighting, paint colors ... so much to do and so many selections to choose from! It is a bit overwelming.

It's a great feelling....hold on tight though....won't be long til you're topping off your foundation....I got out to the lot this morning to see us all stocked sand block brick and mortar for our crawl space.....foreman says they'll be done next Wednesday!

I have naturally curly hair - almost 63. When I was 5, with curls like Shirley Temple, my cousin with the thin straight hair decided she needed a perm but would only go for a Toni if I went too (her family had money, mine did not - guess who "won"). No hairdresser should have permed my hair - talk about a brillo pad! I have hated going to the hairdresser ever since. I am also hair dryer challenged and diffuser challenged. So I stick my head under the tap to wash it and then add some curl enhancer and that is it. Yet when I go for my colour and cut (yesterday) I always have it blowed straight - by someone who knows how to use a brush and dryer - not just swing a dryer around and then use a flat iron - that will kill your hair. While my hair has always been dry - and very thick - it does look very good when done by a hairdresser - I have to be very careful since my hair can be styled in many ways - 95% of which do not suit me. People always ask me why I curl my hair when it looks better straight! As if....Actually, even if I could use a dryer properly, it would take forever for me to dry my hair. I remember being told that post menopause my hair would start to thin out - well it hasn't. I agree re the smell of perms - I would know immediately if someone even came near me. Now if only I suited any other colour than auburn I would be happy. Red is the devil to maintain - good thing I always wear a hat. It is funny, we always want the hair we don't have. Great that you are happy with your perm - but it is funny that my hair looks just like yours after my tap routine.

Congratulations on your CO! That means is almost over. Just think how far you have come. and at this point if you pick the wrong cabinet knob, it can easily be fixed/changed in a few years - UNLIKE "should I move this wall???". We have been very frustrated with our GC and my husband complained to the bank who recommended him - and he straightened up. ALL of a sudden we have people building our stairs and 2 loads of dirt to fill in for our driveway which had not even planned for a few more weeks. You are so close - hang in there.
