I just added Firefox for the first time this past weekend; it's version 3.5.3 which I believe is the latest. At Adobe, I installed/reinstalled Flash Version 10.0.32.18. It is for Windows, Firefox, Safari and Opera. I also installed the Flash Player 10 PlugIn 10.0.32.18 which is for Firefox. I tested at the Adobe site and they report Flash 10.0.32.18 was successfully installed. I also checked C:\Windows/system32/Macromed/Flash and found Flash10c.ocx and NPSWF32.dll there. During the time that I was still trying to get IE7 to work, I followed some directons using Start, Run and then entering each of the following separately, followed by clicking OK. They were regsvr32 mshtml.dll regsvr32 shdocvw.dll regsvr32 browseui.dll regsvr32 msjava.dll Success was reported with the 1st three, but on the last the message was: LoadLibrary ("msjava.dll") failed. The specified module could not be found. I googled it and one site said it won't be found because MS's Java has been replaced by Sun's version. Another site listed programs it's known to affect - Macromedia Flash was on the list. Since I recognized the work Java, I reinstalled that program just in case it might solve the video problem - it didn't. Since this all began somewhere in the process of updating to IE7 (which I then uninstalled) I did reinstall IE7 hoping for a magic solution - it didn't happen. I do plant to continue with FF, however. Is there a program (or maybe it's a tool that's already on my computer) that would show what's happening behind the scenes when the video is "loading"? Found a Bunch of folks who were having the same problem (exactly) as you are having. Apparently the following instructions cleared up the problem for almost everyone. I took the liberty of copying and pasting what I found below. I can't guarantee that it will work for you but it's worth a try. (These were ALL Youtube users) Go To: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_19166&sl... The page title is "Troubleshoot Adobe Flash Player Installation for Windows" click on #3, Troubleshoot Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer. Scroll down to just above question #4 and find the bold print that reads: "If the activeX control for Flash Player fails to install, download the executable installer" Click on download, save to desktop, then install. Close all applications before running installer Confirm Flash by going to: www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ Here is a link that might be useful: Troubleshooter

wait you are talking originally about flash and adobe but then you say something about installing the shockwave, those are 3 different programs. There is Java There is adobe player There is shockwave. you need to make sure you are getting the proper one. If you need java getting shockwave will not help you. You probably want all 3 of them, and you will want them for each of your browsers you use. To update your Java go to control panel then to the java icon there it looks like a coffee cup and hit the update button and follow the prompts. For adobe go to adobe player on your pc and select the update option and follow the prompts to update your player. For shockwave go to the download page for it and select the proper one for your operating system and browsers. Install Adobe Shockwave Player Install Adobe Flash Player BE SURE to uncheck any added components or options like the McAfee scan on the site listed above and in each download you do be sure you uncheck any checked options for added toolbars or other options you only want the actual player you went there for. THANKS for looking and commenting, everyone. I'm going through the multitudes of photos I've taken the past couple days and trying to organize them enough to do another post. Laura, I am so glad you checked in and hopefully you'll look again because your Get 'R Done opened today! I couldn't believe the SIZE of those two blooms on that little bitty plant that just barely settled in! If they are that big on a new planting I can't wait till next year! I knew I would love it. Nancy, glad to hear AWITC bloomed already for you.....mine is barely sending up scapes. But even mine is earlier than normal....it doesn't usually scape until August. Jerry will clump up fast for you I'll bet. I keep taking fans off it to give to people and it just gets bigger the more I take. mantis, Incendiary does well here and has never had a bad year. I had quite a few of his early on but sent a lot of them south. I still have about 4 others of his but Incendiary is the only one I can honestly say has vigor here.
