So I seem to have been able to do all that I wanted to know how to do. Now for some comments... I like knowing how to change the font, but I agree, I would use it rarely. What I find myself wishing I could do on a fairly regular basis, is putting something in italics, underlining a book title, putting a word in bold. As for the color, something else I would rarely go to the trouble of using, but again, I would like to know how to for that rare occasion when I might. Such as in a Christmas greetings thread or something like that. Most of the time I would not take the time to do that. As a matter of fact, I use the firefox browser and if you notice when I tried to use the color tags, I thought it didn't work. That is because firefox limits html commands when using their browser and I didn't see any red words. I realized that you did and I went and used Internet Explorer and sure enough, I saw the word red in red ink. Strangely, I didn't see the other effects. That was confusing and I have no idea why. BUT, in the browser that I use every day, the commands I wanted to use work fine with the directions you gave me. So I am all set. The thing I wanted most to do and will probably use more frequently than the others, is posting a photo inside the post. I used to use Tinypic, but at some point something changed and I was pasting the command they were providing and it still wasn't working. So these directions worked for me. I compared the command you were suggesting to the command Tinypic provided and they were different. But I think I would still use the Tinypic site to upload the photo and then just change the command where needed. Finally, on Nan's concern about resizing the photos. I assume that the concern is the time it takes to open a thread for someone on dial up when one of the photos is oversized. So the photo I posted above, is oversized? If that is a problem, I will go back and review the directions for resizing. Hope that helps. :-)

html will allow pictures and attachments to be added to your email, if you choose text only it will block everything but the text or written part. The safest is text only that way you don't have to worry about getting much infection type stuff coming through, but it will keep you from seeing pictures, you can set it that way then if you want to see something depending on your email client you you could click to allow on that specific email. some people discard HTML messages automatically. Others consider the use of HTML in the email as a sign of unsolicited email. In other cases, the user accesses his email through devices that cannot properly show the HTML message. The safest way to insure that your message is to be seen by the recipient, is to encode it so it is easier to read. This implies the use of plain text.

++++Update---- You can't hide anything online! However, you can make it harder to steal, but, this only work for newbie! 1) At www.swishzone.com you can build flash without knowing flash, very simple, and yes, you can even crack it! 2) Source codes are everywhere, you can hide it, but then there will always be another site out there. "if you are good at it, then why bother to hide!" 3) Even if you put it in css or jsp people can still download the whole thing and open it. 4) If i want to steal a picture, I can use the printscreen command on my keyboard! So there is nothing to hide alright! Now email me if you want to make money online :)

Here's a problem I ran across when I was first doing websites. You make a change to a page, upload it, open your browser and look at the page and it is not fixed. A few rounds and you are ready to tear your hair out and wondering what ever possessed you to mess with this infernal project. Often browsers keep copies of things in the cache and do not always re-load the new page. Or you are loading the page on your harddrive and thinking you are loading the website one, or visa-versa. Try cleaning out your cache, or hitting 'shift' + reload. It may be you fixed the problem already but can't see it.
