Insecure application found with Secunia

Hi, I hope you guys can help me. I used the link Ravencajun gave to another poster about Secunia Software Inspector and it found 6 insecure applications. Ouch!

This is the one I'm trying to fix first....Secunia says Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x is insecure and listed a lot of security updates for it. I have Windows Internet Explorer 7 & Firefox. I looked in Add/Remove programs & could not find Internet Explorer version 6 anywhere. Secunia says "Installed on Your System in:

C:\9a3e763be7c562131857136a81506fef\iexplore.exe", so I looked in that folder. In that folder is a ton of stuff, including an icon labelled iexplore.exe.

What should I do? Delete it from the C:\"folder"? Will that remove it?

Sorry if this isn't clear, I'm not very good with computers.

Looking forward to your expert advice.

June
