In the eleven years I've been with aol, I've never ever gotten a real scam anything before. After thinking about it for a while, I remember I used to see those "Aol will NEVER request billing information" notices, but it's been forever since I've seen anything like that so it didn't really register that it might be a scam to me at first. But then I also do not use my Master Screen Name at all anymore and you have to be signed on under that to even just view your billing info and this email came to Remuda1 not my Master name. Anyway, it was all a little *phishy* so I'm very glad I investigated it further. I guess I've just gotten a little complacent since I've never had any trouble before. Usually, if I get an email from an unknown, I just send it straight to the "report spam" place so I really don't get much spam at all anymore. Just wanted to get the word out there. Would hate for anyone to be taken in by this. Kristi

Lynn, Are you using 'Windows XP', 'Vista', or some other operating system? You mentioned 'Superantispyware' removing "several spywares". Have you also run a full scan with your 'anti-virus' program? If not, update and run a full scan. Something else I overlooked when I read your initial post, I see you're using AOL 9.1. I'm still using AOL 9.0 SE, so there may be some changes to the way things are done in 9.1 as far as repairing the software. I'm not even sure they have the same features in 9.1 so let's forget about 'rebuilding the AOL adapter' for now. Someone else using that version of AOL will have to jump in here. If you have the 'AOL' icon down in the system tray (by the clock) you can right click that and see what options there are. System Restore is painless and if you don't get the results you want you just 'undo' the restore. If you had any kind of virus or spyware infection and you restore to a time when your machine was infected, yes, it will restore those infections, but you can always run your anti-virus and anti-spyware applications again to remove them. I can't say for certain whether or not 'system restore' will affect your bookmarks but it is always a good idea to back up anything on your computer that you cannot afford to lose or want the hastle of having to replace. There can never be enough said about the importance of backing up important data! I use Acronis True Image which makes an image of the complete hard drive, sector by sector, that will restore everything including operating system, programs, documents, pictures, data, etc. to the 'T'. This is on a second drive in my PC in case my primary drive should fail. I also have an external hard drive where I back up 'My Documents'. No, running CCleaner again is not going to fix the problem, nor do I see where CCleaner would have created your problem, unless by chance, if you also used the 'Registry' feature in CCleaner, it may have removed something. Anytime you use any kind of registry cleaner it should have the option of making a backup in case things go wrong, which is exactly why most cleaners, some don't, have the backup option. Either that or create a 'system restore' point before you use it. Using a 'registry cleaner' is a hot topic. Some swear by them, others swear at them! I personally have use Macecraft 'Reg Supreme' for years with no ill effects. "There may have been an easier way to do this, but I just copied and pasted all the bookmarks I made_____". There is: Internet Explorer has an 'import/export' feature for transferring or backing up your cookies and favorites. Click on 'File' in the Menu bar at the top of the IE browser, select 'Import/Export', and follow the Wizard. You can save them to a file on your computer for retrieval later if you should need to do so using the same wizard. I made a folder called 'Backups' in the 'My Documents' folder where I store a copy of my 'cookies' and 'favorites'. In Firefox, I'm still using version 2.0.0.16, if you go to 'Bookmarks' in the Menu bar and select 'Organize bookmarks' and click on 'File', you'll find an 'Import' and 'Export' wizard. Drink some 'brave' juice and try the system restore first to see if that works. Witz

I can't find my log-in information judiegal made for me so I'll post under her name again. squirrelheaven, Savannah's appetite isn't bad she just doesn't like her food anymore. She still wants everyone elses food and treats. She's actually in the middle of getting her food changed over to the Wellness Core. She loves the Core and eats her old food just because it's mixed in with it. Her poops are good and firm which is a good sign. You're right about loose stools being common with food changes. When I read reviews of foods so many people quit on a good food because they think it's making their pets sick. Some people even leave bad reviews because it smells bad! I opted for a two week changeover for my dogs and they're both fine. I've been letting Savannah outside to run around and she has a ball. She runs and rolls in the grass, and when no one's looking she sneaks into the pool. When you go to check on her you can see foot prints leaving the pool and her rolling on the grass. I check on her frequently to make sure she's fine, she can get in and out of the pool easily but you never know. We do have a pool alarm that's been in its box for a while now, I might set it up. I'm trying to find a good vitamin/supplement to give her, something like an everyday senior multi-vitamin. Does anyone know of any good brands or products? She's doing well with the fish oil and co-q 10. I don't know if just a regular petco vitamin will do. I'm also looking for more natural flea and tick products. Thanks everyone. Our two Mini-labradoodles (2nd generation)have different types of hair from each other. Our female, Andi has wiry hair on her back but her legs, head are soft and wavy/curly. She doesn't shed hair on our clothes or furniture but when you comb her, especially on her thick back fur, you will get it in the comb. Amos, our black male, has more poodle like hair, soft, its wavy to thick curls. We cut his hair about every other week to keep the mats down, which was a real problem when he was swimming this summer. Now it is not such a problem and we let him go a little longer. I do find little curls like on the carpet where he scratches them out, mostly from around his neck or ears. Either that or his sister pulls them out playing! Our breeder did not promise that they wouldn't shed at all, but that there would be less than other breeds like our Brittany. We certainly have less shedding than with either our Brittany or our Cockapoo. Hers was more like fuzz when she shed. He did tell us that they would need combing and that daily would be the best route to go. Luckily, they both love to be combed and its part of our nightly routine while we are on the floor with them. I agree (QQ know this) that they are very sweet, lovable, and smart.
