Hi Mike, First thank you for your reply. Yes, that's correct. Now, what makes it even more strange, is that when you sent me your reply, and I clicked on the link, as expected Firefox opened it, but when I scrolled down to answer you I had to log in again, but this time it wouldn't accept my information (User/Password)so I went back to IE and entered the site name, computer am now replying. No, the Dell tech made sure IE was default in all categories. That's what we thought originally that somehow an area had not been checked, but IE is the default. BarbB

I will have to look this over, it sounds pretty neat. pkponder, is there a check next to Block Images and other external content in HTML email? There is no checkmark in that box. What type of picture file are you attempting to attach? I have some pictures from my camera (Kodak easyshare camera)and I took them from the Kodak gallery and transfered them into a folder. I then resized some of those pictures. I right click on the picture itself then choose send to, then Mail Recipient and it goes to Outlook Express. It's worked before but not now. I just happened to notice when I went to my other clipart folders that when I put my mouse on a clipart it is now showing Kodak Easyshare, those cliparts did not come from Kodak Easyshare they came from the Microsoft website where I got them from Microsoft Publisher to make cards. Why did Kodak easyshare take over my cliparts and how do I get it back to normal? Now I know what has happened the Kodak software is set as the default picture viewer. I don't know how that happened. How do I Change the application back to Windows Media Viewer? When it is set to the Media Viewer I can do everything in Outlook Express as I use to and open the paperclip to see the pictures that come in to me. The search that I did really doesn't help me much with this problem but it did let me know what happened and when I checked out every picture, clipart etc that I have in my folders it shows Kodak Easyshare .gif or jpeg etc. Now that I know what the problem is I need to know how to get my clipart etc to open with the Windows Picture Viewer. Shaun, did the former secretary do this for him, or is this a new thing he wants? If it's new, then you simply don't have Outlook set up to retrieve email from his account. Look for a setting to add email accounts. Is it possible she had another email program set up on that computer too? Take a look at all programs on the computer.
