If this is IE8 you simply click on the Favourites and it drops down. Then right click anywhere on the list and click 'Sort' On a side note if you have sites you visit regularly you can add those to the Favourites toolbar by clicking the smaller star with the green arrow. Those then appear just to the right of the 2 stars you see there. Nice little feature but be sure to edit longer titles or they take too much space across the screen to my way of thinking.

I'm using Revo uninstaller on my laptop and have a question...it's done the uninstall and has scanned for any leftover files. The window up now says: Note: Please carefully verify the bolded items! Only checked bolded items and their subitems will be deleted! The file that's bolded is at the furthest branch of this tree...My Computer>HKEY_Classes_ROOT>CLSID and then this.... "3B6C15BE-F9FD-7E15-F865-ABA8E2A09915>. That's the only bolded item. I have no idea if this is what I'm supposed to delete. Does Revo know best and should I just choose "delete"? I'll leave it on the screen until I hear something. :) Pam

it is not only about protecting the kids but also your entire network because if their laptop is connected to your network which it likely will if you plan on using a wireless router some infections do spread through out networks. You will need very very good security programs on it to protect from infections. Putting sandbox on it would help. Locking domains through the router. Use a good Hosts list. Prohibiting all social networking sites period and check the history to see if they are going to them if so take the pc away. The worst thing they can do is start to put pics of themselves on those sites then drop info that would let someone know where they live, mention of school, mall etc and then you get into some scary possibilities not to mention the pics posted can and definitely do end up stolen then posted on porn sites, it happens every single day, some perv has your childs picture. As Zep said and I said in the other post get on google and read the info is available. But being watchful and making serious rules and sticking to them are essential. Kids can find ways of getting around most of the programs you try to put on there to filter activity.
