How to get a picture off of Garden Web

Hi, I use photobucket.com. I have deleted the photos off of photobucket. At least they are no longer in the album.

Well. my picture is still on Garden web? How can I break the link? Maggie

You probably just have the image in your browser cache.

Kinda not nice to delete pictures because then someone looking at the forum message will see a broken image and may spend hours trying to fix their computer, finally get frustrated and throw their shoe at it.

I use Firefox and still get the lancome ad. Clicking on the forum doesn't make it go away either. My biggest complaint is the expanding ads at the top that make every thing move when the ad changes size, just as I'm clicking on a new thread, and I click on the wrong one, and have to start over. It's a free site, and I have no problem with selling ad space, but the ones that effect the way it works are annoying.

Jay, I had the same problem last night after 9:30 p.m. with the Oklahoma Forum but Mo has had it for days and days and days, so I think her problem is something else, but don't know what. I don't know if any of us really has an answer for Mo or for Diane who's had similar issues the last couple of weeks. It's one thing for us to not be able to get onto the forum for a few hours here or there, but Owie has only been able to get on sporadically over the past couple of weeks, and Mo hasn't been able to get on GW at all. I did e-ail Mo a couple of suggestions from Brian but I don't know if she's had time to try them yet. Dawn

hmm....my OT's have been moved in the past, not lately, and I have never gotten an email from them! Sorry about your car, transmission trouble seems to be running rampart! Does that mean if I deleted the pictures on Photobucket,
I can see the pictures because it is on my brower but no one else can see the image because it is not on photobucket any more any more.

Most likely yes.

Unless of course those people that use aol or isp's with catching proxy servers(web accelleratiors) where it might be saved also.
