Absolutely - compact your messages and the notice vanishes. Open Outlook Express, click File at the top, click Folder, click Compact all folders. Prior to doing that you might clear out your inbox and sent folder of unwanted emails then empty the Deleted folder

For personal email, I am using an old copy of Netscape ver. 4.7. It's no good for browsing anymore because it does not support newer features and calls in the later versions of Windows, but it works great as an email utility. You can browse the internet with Internet Explorer and bring up Netscape when you need to access email. Both Netscape and IE will run simultaneously without interferring with each other. Just make sure that for the first time Netscape runs and the panel pops up, "do you want to make Netscape your default brouser", you answer, "No". IE will remain the default and Netscape will be secondary. You can start and stop Netscape at any time as needed while IE remains connected on-line. I use IE to log into my ISP's mail server to read and manage my mail on the mail server, but when I want to download emails to my computer, I fire up Netscape to do this. In this way, I can purge my email of spam and any messages that I do not want to keep, then download only the "keepers".

You can probably do a web search and find many ways. Think I would try first an edit of my HOSTS file and add; 127.0.0.1 download.macromedia.com Then everything will ignore that address.

What is the situation? Are you trying to redo a bermuda lawn or trying to keep it out of a veggie or flower bed? It makes a difference. Also what is the problem with Round Up. I'm not trying to be judgmental - I realize people have problems with it. It might help to know why you don't want to use it. I have has pretty good success growing St Augustine as a cover for bermuda. The coarse bladed St Augustine easily overgrows the fine bladed bermuda and takes over. Easily, time after time, every time I've tried it (about 15 times), 100% success every time. But you are in OK. I'm not sure which will go dormant first, the bermuda or St Aug. But the St Aug should awaken earlier in the spring and then you're off to the races for the season. Pro tip: St Augustine is always mowed at the mower's highest setting. If you are talking about in a flower bed, you might try an alternate use of Round Up. I have successfully eliminated bind weed from a garden using one easy application of Round Up. I did not spray it willy nilly over the garden. I put some 43% RU concentrate into a floral bud vase and stuck one strand of the bind weed into the bud vase. I let it sit for weeks. That one strand of bind weed took up the RU and killed the entire plant. I had bind weed I never noticed before over a 30-ft diameter circle all coming from one central plant. That one little, noninvasive, dose of RU killed it all. You might be able to do something like that for bermuda.
