The link given above runs (Malwarewbytes) after following those directions please (post a log) of malwarebytes scan see the instructions below how to access the log --->copy and paste it in your next reply and let us know if it worked for you.

Below are the instructions for Malwarebytes program incase you need them..

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be found here: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt

you will need to run 3 programs now to clean this from your system. they are all free but you need to do all of them even if you think it is gone.
Superantispyware get it update it and run full scan let it clean what if finds.

ATF Cleaner Instructions
ATF-Cleaner.exe

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
. Save it to your Desktop.

Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
Shutdown/restart the computer.

set up a limited user account for any of the kids to use and never let them use the pc with full administrator account that is asking for trouble. Put a good password on the admin account and only allow others to use limited accounts.

go to start control panel users/accounts and set up a limited user account.

I'm sitting here try to remove my grandson "keepers" as he refers to it and getting him his own e-mail.
But I have this notifacation that keeps popping up from my virus protection now.
I have the "delete" box check but it doesn't delete it.

do you mean trojan? if so yes you probably do, update the programs and run scans again do all of them, then go here and run this online scan.
The ESET Online Scanner
this will take some time as it will do a full virus scan of your pc just let it do it's thing.

I ran the ESET and it says no threats found, but it popped up again as TR/------Trash.-----Gen Trojan.
on my antivirus, should I check the box
Move to quarietine,Delete,
Rename,
deny access,
or check ignore.

Also, it seems I no loner have Spybot. Should I reinstal that or does the SuperAnti Spyware do that job now?...........cheryl

Move it to quarantine. It will be safe there and you can later delete it. Both Spybot Search and Destroy and SuperAntispyware are the same kinds of programs, but it never hurts to have several anti spyware programs.

I don't use spybot much anymore I use superantispyware.

are you looking for where you change the wallpaper? if so right click on the desktop choose properties and go to the appropriate tab you will find the list of included wallpaper or you can select photos to use as wallpaper and add them to the wallpaper list.

cheryl if you want to try to make sure you are totally clean I can have you go to one of the pro security forums and we can help you there with some other special programs.
We have had really good luck getting this wiped out. Recently this infection has added components including rootkits and you may have one of the latest versions.
