Try disabling Zone Alarm to see if it's interfering. Right click on the Zone Alarm Icon in the system tray by the clock and see if a disable option is there. Once disabled try the Ebay site again.

Thanks for answering, Zep. I turned off ZoneAlarm, went to Ebay, and there was no change. Any other suggestions? I have turned it back on.

click the Content tab and see if there is a check mark where it says 'Load images automatically'.

Thanks Owbist. I did as you said, and there is a check mark where it says 'Load images automatically'. I unchecked it, went to Ebay and it does as it implies - no images at all. So I went back and rechecked the box, but it still only shows the thumbnails. I thought maybe that would jog its memory.

Any more ideas? I'm at a loss.

Have you tried clearing your cache on firefox? I would do that and it could be an add on possibly you can try your firefox in firefox safe mode, under your programs list go to firefox and select firefox safe mode that will run it with out any of the add ons active.

firefox cache>tools up top then clear recent history for the list of things you can choose definitely clear the cache in the time frame to clear you can pick everything.

Hi, Raven. I cleared cache and it didn't make any difference.
I didn't find firefox safemode, but I tried Run as Administrator, and that did not work either. It appears to be working now if I use IE Tqb 2 for that page.

I'm going to update FF and see if that helps.

Zep, now why didn't I see that? If it were a snake it wuda bit me. Anyway, yes, everything is viewable and much better than it ever has been. Now for the dumb question - what does this mean? Is there something I can change? Do I start eliminating the add-ons to see if one of them is causing the problem?

That's exactly how! You will need to disable 1 add / on (Extension) at a time. So in the browser click on Tools then click on Add ons, you can disable them from there. Check the plugins too by clicking on Plugins. That's where Java, flash etc are located.

OK, I will go through that exercize of disabling the add-ons/extensions one at a time. I do have several Java Console 6.0.20 through 6.023 and 6.0.26. It says Java Console is incompatible with FF 6.0.2 and they have been disabled. I have tried to remove these, but there is no option to remove and they do not appear on Revo Ininstaller or Add/Remove Programs. How do I remove them? I thought Java did that automatically now.

Now I have a ton of questions about add-ons, plug-ins,etc. But one thing at a time.

The add-on causing the proplem was No-Squint 2.1.2. That's ok. I can do without it.

excellent detective work! that is how you get it done trial and error.

you should be able to just select to disable the old java plugins in firefox.

Also a good tool to use to help remove old java stuff is JavaRa
