Like the other Texas members, I do NOT feel your pain. Large areas of Texas have been declared eligible for disaster relief because the extended heat and drought have wiped out farm crops and cattle forage. Those big round bales of hay sell for around $80 dollars apiece, and they feed about ten cows for about two days. I feel a little guilty about the water usage (from our well) that it takes to keep our large yard alive...there is a vivid line around the yard that shows where the sprinklers stop---green on one side, brown and crunchy on the other. We have a large pond, and I often think it would be very interesting to have a motion-activated camera out there at night, to see the parade of desperate wildlife. There is a deer that brings her twin fawns out to drink and search for a little grass on the far side of the pond from the house, in broad daylight now. Guess she can't wait for dark in these temperatures. I don't much like hummingbirds (I know, you bird-huggers are horrified) but I finally put out feeders for them after I saw a hummer trying frantically to get his beak into a collapsed morning glory bloom. Nothing is blooming outside the yard. It'll be interesting to see whether the winter brings opposite extremes. Laura

Two things may have happened...you may have lost this tool bar...go to "view" "toolbars" and see if "standard" and "formating" are ticked. Or...you may have put one toolbar over the other. Put your cursor over the toolbar that "is" there and holding your right click down, pull down and see if it doesn't show up...you can move them around in this manner. Also on the toolbar you mention, there is a little pulldown arrow and you can add or delete buttons as you please to customize it.

They are up at the sink as soon as I go into the kitchen. They both love to drink from the faucet which I encourage. They always have a fresh bowl of water also but the faucet is their preferred method of drinking. My dear Tommy died two Christmases ago at about two years old. He was a stray that entered our garage when my husband got his power washer out. I posted about him on FB and offered to pay to get him neutered and supply a litter box and food but no one claimed him so we adopted him. We had him neutered and got his shots for him. Our vet said he appeared to be about ten months old. He was such a doll but afraid of any noise. He battled with constant bladder infections. The last round caused kidney failure and he died. I often wondered if he had a lack of clean water outside that initially caused his issues. Poor boy was in and out of our vet's on a regular basis. We had a water fountain for him to encourage him to drink more.

I will be taking out a small med cab on the side wall and making it into an exposed shelf. Then we are putting in two med cabs, 21 x 34" with electrical outlets inside for the toothbrush and anything else electrical that we acquire. I expect to hold all my hair stuff and other grooming supplies in there. Meds are in a drawer by my chair in the family room. OTC meds and first aid supplies are in the linen closet in the hall. I am putting a 30 x 42 x 12"cabinet into the wall behind the clothes closet in the next room. We are moving out the wall a foot into that bedroom to get a larger shower, so the closet next to the shower is moving out a foot, too. I am stealing that foot back by using the bottom 48" as a cabinet (and the base molding) and the top will be a recessed towel hanging area. TP, extra shampoo, hand towels and a few other things can reside there. Our vanity will have only a single row of shallow drawers, so the cabinet will be our major storage. If you look online, there are a lot of medicine cabinets still available, up to 8" deep, if you want to pay the price!
