"Shut down" any program means to make that window active and then click the x at the upper right hand margin. Then shut down your PC, start it up again once it's fully off, and restart Word. I think what you're experiencing is sometimes when you open a file that has settings that are different from your own personal defaults, they stay active until you open one of the preset templates that have been established for your own Word installation. I'm a Word novice, and I could be using the wrong words, but if you go out and come back in again, I think you're find it back it's gone back to "normal".

The comb did not miss anything. The nitpickers have not tried it yet because the cetaphil works so good, but said some schools had started to use it and thought it was excellent. So after my sisters ordeal, i now check my kids once a week because if you can catch it early things will be so much easier. I find my moblie phone very useful, but I rarely have a 'real' conversation on it. I use the text function a lot and my sons are the main recipients of real phone calls with requests like 'please go to the shop and buy some milk'. In that case I would ring rather than text as we are all on the same network and ringing each other is free. I don't use abbreviations when texting as it takes me longer to work that out than to use the intuitive text function. I am guilty of using abbreviations on line like DH, ppl, pls and cos, but would never write them in a formal document, and only do it as a time/space saver. One forum I go to has a character limit, and it helps a lot there. I also use abbreviations of book titles (TKAM, TGL&PPPS) and album titles on a particular singer's fan site. At work we take several job applications every week, and I am tempted to throw out the ones with spelling and grammar mistakes - after all, it is a book shop and knowing how to spell is important when looking up titles. However, it is not up to me. I did read one where half way down the page was written: "I would like to work at (insert business name here) because ......." Lack of proof reading in this case did mean it was thrown out.

Well, it IS winter and peaches and other deciduous fruit trees are typically dormant at this time of year. It may be nothing more than that. This is really not a houseplant in any sense of the word, although I do understand the reasoning for growing it indoors now, considering when it was planted. But I would also be concerned about the size of the container versus the size of the baby plant, the type of planting media being used and the effect of daily watering. Even every 2-3 days is too frequently.....you may be looking at the beginning of root rot. And no more fertilizing now. You do not want to encourage growth now......only sustain what you have. Wait until spring and you can safely move the baby outside, then fertilize.
