To everyone following this exchange... we finally heard from Sheila, I was relieved to hear that nothing had happened to her or her health. I received 4 hostas,but all except one small one,were in a horrible dried out condition, I dont know what could of went wrong, since she had a tracking number on them...and they had only been in transport for 2-3 days. THere was no moisture at all on anything. The garden art she sent was nice. I just dont seem to have the normal excitment, I always felt about this exchange because I feel like we forced her to go thru with it. Alot of this could of been avoided if she would kept in contact with us, but instead the email I received just said the boxes would be sent out July 5th. We honestly would of understood Sheila, but you left us no option but to think the worst. Frank, I feel so guilty now that you have sent us the beautiful plants you did.I dont want you to think we were trying to take advantage of you, by accepting your wonderful offer to us. That said..if you would like us to reimberse you for your plants or return your generous offer please let us know. I know I can speak for Margie as well as myself on this. We honestly didnt expect to hear anything from Sheila. If there is one thing I would like everyone to remember if and when you do a "bad" trade...something good will come out of it..its called friendship,that would come in the form of anyone who comes to your defense in your situation. I am proud to say, I have made 2 wonderful new friends ..Margie and Frank. Urlee...I do all that sort of stuff with my Outlook Express also....I have Outlook Express on one computer (and love it) and have Windows Live on the other and it's no fun at all... maybee, I am so sorry and sympathize with you as I felt horrible about WLM as you could tell at the start of this thread. Now I have to confess I like it as well (almost) as I do Outlook Express as I am finding (after learning) I can do the same as I do in OE. There are a few differences just done in a different way.

All my other Inboxes, etc. are within separate acct folders. I.E., each other acct. contains an Inbox, Drafts, Sent, etc. - outside of "Local Folders." Anyway, there's a good chance that after you create an IMAP acct., the email that you have already downloaded using POP mail, and deleted from the server - won't show up in the IMAP Inbox. You'd have to import them back in. Just to be safe, I would export all your email first so that you have it as backup. Then make new accts as IMAP. See if everything looks correct, or if you need to import anything from the backup you just made. Finally, delete the POP accts. There is a really handy addon tool for TB : ImportExportTools https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/importexporttools/?src=search (That page looks complicated, but the use of the tool is not) The two different ways to export using that tool are - (and you get to the choices by right clicking on "Inbox" or any other folder) : 1) "Export folder" (w/ or w/o structure) This makes an Mbox file of everything that you export. It makes for just a few simple files that aggregate everything within the respective folders. So you will end up w/ one Inbox file, one Drafts file, etc. "Structure" just means you will keep the nested structure of the folders. The disadvantage is that you can't read them later w/o importing them back first (using ImportExportTools). 2) "Export all Messages" (and choose "eml" format here) This exports each email as a .eml file - and you can identify and read each one separately later after exporting. So if you export 500 emails, you'll get 500 .eml files. You can batch import them though using ImportExportTools. And you can read them just by clicking on them individually. There's no harm in exporting both ways if you like. Just create separate folders so you can keep it all straight. Play around with it a bit until you get the hang of it. For all the people recommending this way to do email or that - this debate has been going on for years. There are advantages and disadvantages to each - it really depends on your needs. I wouldn't say that any one of them is "unusual" as someone commented - what's unusual to one is likely normal to someone else. Personally I use them all, and all for different purposes - no one method seems to work for every purpose. I do use web based email for the most part though. Last month I was able to view IncrediMail stationery when opening my mail from Yahoo mail client. This only lasted about two weeks and I'm now back to not being able to see them. It was really neat for that time even though they weren't exactly in IM form and they changed the view of the email. For example, some made the standard words (From, To, Subject, etc.) larger or smaller and also changed their positions (just like in IncrediMail), depending on the graphic. Plus it took them a few moments to load but they were there in plain view. Hey, I have a witness! LOL Anyway, does anyone know why suddently I was able to view the graphics (letters, stats) and why now I am again not able to view them? I'm not really sure I recall properly, but I think I had downloaded an IE v.6 update. (I know I absolutely did not install v.7.) Even so, the update would still be on my computer and functioning. I just don't understand what I did wrong or rather what I did right LOL to be able to view them and now I can't. Hope I explained that well. I'm running Windows XP. Has this happened to anyone else? Is anyone else running IE able to view IM letters from Yahoo mail?
