The best place to go to find out what is good or what is a rogue product is spwarewarriors site. Spyware Warrior I am with Owbist here why would you want a ?? program that you have to pay for (a lot) when there are super programs that do the same tasks for free? I personally do not ever use registry cleaners and when asked I urge people if they are not a registry specialist then don't go there. They don't do that much for you and when used wrong can really so some serious damage. But that is a personal choice. I would use superantispyware free or if you just want to spend some money support that fine company by getting their pay version. it is the top of the line, the pay version will do auto updates and you can schedule scanning, the free one you have to remember to update it weekly and run the scan manually. SUPERAntiSpyware I don't know this product personally, it could be a great product but in reading the reviews on some of the tech sites I am on I did not like this right here. The bad: * Requires you to accept its decisions * Automatically broadcasts stats about your machine's health to its Web site * Uses new antivirus and new firewall technology which may fall short of existing solutions "loading itself up with extras you might not use while urging you to accept its findings without providing context or sometimes even a choice." "too often feels like a hot-shot garage mechanic that recommends an oil change even though your car has barely driven 3000 miles." "Even with a disc from Iolo, we were asked to enter a long license number, then, a few screens later, enter an even longer registration number. That's a lot of numbers to key in, and if you make a mistake it's hard to find which character is out of place or entered wrong. You'd think you were entering the access code for Fort Knox." this would be a deal breaker for me sounds way too much like spyware activity. "During installation we were asked to agree with a standard end-user license agreement. Only later we did realise that data from our hard drive was being collected and sent back to the Iolo. How do we know that? Visitors to the Iolo Threat Center see the latest statistics from System Mechanic users worldwide, displaying percentages of cluttered files on people's machines, or how defragemented their hard drive is. We could find no way to opt out of this, either during the setup process or after out installation. We think it's wrong that Iolo collects such data without our explicit permission." found a few owner reviews Cons: Absolute no indication of what they are removing from your PC, so don't be surprised when it all goes wrong. Cons: Runs in background = eats memory and CPU. Slowdowns PC. Cons: DON'T GET THIS!!! Okay it lets you remove from control panel in XP. But dont get your hopes up its still in your computer. If you try to manually delete it, it wont let you saying you dont have permission. Its taking up 7,000+ K of my RAM and i cant even end the process. This program is a joke and shouldn't even be considered software. It's a burden. Don't get this. Cons: crashed xp had to wipe and reload dont get this Cons: reboots comp all the time ... constantly requires downloading upgrades ... it takes over your computer!!!!!!!!!! and you can't get it OUT! ok after seeing all that and seriously there was not one single postive review by owners, I my self would not touch it but hey thats just how I roll LOL. Do some google searches and read some owner reviews!

I answered the same question you posted on a different thread so check there.

I saw a home with a cathedral ceiling that had a vent at the peak. A fan equipped duct ran to it from the lower floor providing 24/7 circulation. I believe it was part of the architect's original design. Perhaps you could do something like that.

House is about 3,000 sq feet in three levels + basement. Front yard is not that large (about 300 sq feet) where you could potentially do the wells. And the access might be complicated since there is some trees in the front. Backyard where this could be installed is about 1,000 sq feet but also kind of difficult access for drilling machines (potentially only horizontal on trenches, which might not be big enough). Ok, so looking like geothermal (water to water) might be a better solution than air to water since it is more reliable through the Canadian winter, I will be trying to get some quotes on comparable systems and see... not sure if technology is here yet, incentives in Canada are not as good as US (you can write off some tax south of the border), here it just gets thrown with many other improvements that we are still looking at doing (windows, insulation...). Also another solution might be future proofing it, leaving some conducts and space for big water deposit in mechanical room, but going for gas since it is the easiest and most reliable (maybe not cheapest now)
