First off lets get one thing perfectly clear I have NEVER claimed to be the ONLY person here HELPING, how absurd. I volunteer on numerous wonderful support/help forums with a multitude of absolutely wonderful knowledgeable people this one included. I never advise anyone to do or use something that I would not use myself and that will NOT change. And any time I see one recommended that I know has some problem I WILL with out doubt provide that info so that any person considering it will have full info to make an informed decision on that program themselves, with full knowledge. And I appreciate it when someone who knows something negative about a programs speaks up and provides that info, it is how we learn. IObit has been found guilty of several thefts of program material over the years this theft of malwarebytes is just one more. NOT the kind of people I want to entrust ANY ones pc to. Try reading the info provided about IOBit. I never mentioned you anywhere in my post, I simply referred to the program,(which I would have done no matter who posted about it, and have done in the past) no idea why on Earth you felt the need to slam me, but I am not the only one here you have done it to, it really does not surprise me. Raven, I hope it is alright to ask this here. What is the benefit of system back up rather than just backing up our personal stuff?

If all you are worried about is crash and losing files... hard to beat dropBox for something like that. Don't need to do anything,, its like magic. Files on your your hard drive folder,, with no effort there will be a copy in your online dropbox with same folder name automatically. Delete a file from your folder, it deletes from dropbox ... but.. you can view and restore deletes at dropbox for a few days. Crash your hard drive completely, reinstall windows fresh and install the dropbox program.. the real magic quietly happens.. suddenly those folders and files all up to the minute/date in real time from when you crashed,,, reappear on your computer. Any computer you install dropbox on will have the same files on it too... as long as you use the same account/login/password. Sounds like you didn't but your friend may have saved the key code and you'll need that as most likely its written into the registry and another windows system file. I'd butn the zip file and that code on a text file to a CD/dvd and maybe copy it somewhere else too. You might be able to find the key code with a program called SIW (System Information for Windows) by clicking its 'secrets' icon. It's unlikely that backing up the program will do you much good nor save a copy of that key code . If you crash and loose the program you'll need to reinstall it from that zip file.
