I have 2 wireless mouses or um mice?? that I really like one is a GE and one is a Gear Head MP2000WU both are the smaller size notebook mouse which I much prefer they just fit and feel better in my hand than the big ones. The Gear Head has the suede feel rubber on the click part of the top and on the sides where you grip it. They both have the small usb receiver that is about the size of a thumb drive or smaller. The GE has a place that opens on the top that the receiver stores in which is nice. One takes AAA one takes AA batteries.

I have tried wireless keyboards and no matter the brand I just did not like them, they go through batteries like crazy even the rechargables.

GEAR HEAD MP2000WU Mine is all black but it is this one. the dongle for this one is a bit wide and in some cases can partly block the usb port beside it but it does come with a cord to use as an extension if you need it.

that is what the GE one looks like, I use it daily it is my main mouse and I love it, nice and small easy to hold batteries last quite well and you can put the dongle inside under the black center part. I have had it and use it daily for a couple years I think, it has never had any problems.

oh I just found my mouse in pink, for an excellent price too , it is usually listed around $30 ... I may need this pink one LOL

I had bought a set with a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse but brought it back after a few days, it ate batteries and the keyboard had keys doing kkkkkksssssssss ooooooo etc all the time, Hated it.

This one is also a great mouse my husband has it, it comes in handy since he does a lot of conferences and can use the built in laser pointer. It last forever on batteries. Has extra long range.
GE 98505 Wireless Mini Presenter Mouse

By far the best mouse that I have ever used is the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 8000. We have had three of them in daily use in our family for several years and have never had any problems.

My computer is in switched on for about 18 hours every day whether I am using it or not. Admittedly I am working on it for much of the time so my mouse is in pretty constant use, but other times my mouse is just left lying on my mouse mat because I have forgotten to sit it on its charger base.

Of course my intended routine is to place the mouse on its charger whenever I walk away from my computer, but hey I keep forgetting!

A couple of hours charging while I have my evening meal break (which I do always remember) is enough to keep the mouse working.

This mouse is supplied with a single rechargeable AA battery and has four buttons (one can be set as a magnifier) plus a scroll wheel that also rocks sideways for scrolling across the screen. It is a normal sized mouse with soft feel sides.

Colin, I have had that mouse and was also happy with it. I do not want a rechargable because it needs to work with a laptop and I don't want to deal with the base. I have used that mouse on a desktop and did like it though.

Jane, I use mine with my laptop. The battery life is so good that I don't need to carry the charger base around with me when I am out and about. The only thing that I have to be careful about is not knocking the USB dongle because it sticks out from its socket.

Couldn't resist. Actually, I'm following this thread because I'm interested in buying a wireless mouse, too.

I just recently bought the Microsoft wireless laser mouse 7000 for $20 from an Amazon.com vendor. Absolutely love it. Local stores have had the 3000 advertised for the same price, but this (the 7000)is far superior to the 3000 at the same price. Needless to say, I am delighted with it.

I have a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse with my desktop computer, but that mouse is larger and much heavier than the MS7000, which is truly made for laptops.
