jkom51 ~ I am going through some very hard times with my dad's health. He has many issues with his lungs and heart. It is hard for me to know if he is at end-stage dementia. It seems he has all the symptoms of middle-stage and some of end-stage so it is hard to judge. In all honesty, I would say he is at end-stage but he does recognize some folks but doesn't carry on conversations. Once in a while he is more lucid and shares how he is feeling but it doesn't last too long. I just wanted to thank you for sharing the website on long-term care planning. I have been reading it and, especially, the advice and clarification of dementia. Robyn

Thx for the responses. I'm pretty much a homebody due to health issues and do mostly all my shopping online. The internet has been a boon to me. Win 8.1 on an HP. All that's on it (that I can find) are a few games with very limited usage. Then you have to buy or join the gaming group and purchase 'coins' and pay as you play. I've checked Amazon, my #1 go to place. They've so many games, I was weary from wading thru them. Hence the decision to find the three or four I listed. I also have an iPad and have an assortment of word games that I enjoy when I have time. I'll check out the Jigsaw puzzle link. Sheila

If you happen to use Firefox, this is what I currently use: Download YouTube Videos as MP4 (Very easy to use) A less automatic but interesting approach, using VLC: The Best Hidden Features of VLC (Not quite as quick and easy but you don't need to add an extension) "Does YTD Downloader qualify?" I don't know. I try to stick with open source. Firefox extensions are open source. VLC is open source. YTD Downloader is not. That's just me though.

I think I need to get some crayons or colored pencils or markers. Now BHL (Biodiversity Heritage Library) has a free coloring book to download.
