The problem of the toilet paper holders was corrected. The problem was as everyone thought, they didn't want to put them on the vanity because they wouldn't hold properly because of the panels. They were swapped out with the kind where the toilet paper slips on and off a hook and they could be installed on the vanity. When I get time, I'll take photos and post them. Even though the problem of the toilet paper holder placement has been corrected, I have yet for the contractor to come back and take care of the wall where they were taken off. He filled in the holes but painted with the wrong paint. He is aware of this but hasn't come back to correct it. We just moved into our home and I've been too busy unpacking and working to call him and remind him about all the little things that need to be taken care of.

I have never ever had a flying tp roll on my hook holder and don't understand how it can happen if it's installed properly. My tp does not rub the wall and I use mega rolls. One reason some won't put a new roll on is because they would actually have to put in the effort to find a new roll even if it's right there in the cabinet beside the toilet. So I purchased this hanger that hooks onto the side of the toilet tank, they lid goes on over it and holds it in place. It holds 2 extra rolls of tp. Then it's a quick movement of sliding it off that hook and onto the other hook. It is fairly successful.

Hi Cynic...Meet Caroline!! I had a 4 1/2lb. Fox Terrier/Chihuahua mix, Susie, with me for 12 years. One of the purest joys of her life was jumping up, digging on the TP roll to unroll it, and then grabbing a mouthful, so she could gleefully run down the hallway, into the living room, and then the kitchen. When the long streamer would snag and break, she'd start the whole process over again, I finally installed a higher shelf to hold the rolls. Once in a great while I would put a roll on the original holder since it brought her so much joy. She only unrolled the paper in the main bath. She never bothered the paper in the master bath. And now you "know someone who has seen it!"

As a matter of fact...I didn't want to make Pal feel bad but I just placed a phone order with Eclectic-Ware.com for 3 of these AC recessed tp holders in matte white. Their website was a little tough to navigate but their color choice was great. Taking a chance that this color will work. the lead time for the HCP was longer and this company is mailing 3 out to me today. I just ran across their site. Crossing my fingers.
