Mike, If you are getting an access denied while installing SP2 from the MS CD, which happened to me the other day, go to this MS support page and follow the dirrections to create a svcpack.log & the setupapi.log and it will pinpoint the registry key that is denying access, and they tell you exactly what value to change it to, then it'll install fine. I guess this isn't the problem then. I have WMP open and it doesn't even recognize that there is a disk in the Drive E. I first noticed this last week when I tried to rip some songs off a DVD. For instance if I put CD audio into Drive E, and choose "Rip" it tells me to insert a CD, and eventually ejects it. However I can play a DVD in the same Drive on WMP.

I noticed that it fills at a trickle on cold and warm. Check the hot and cold flow (separately) via diagnostics. If water flow is weak then either 1) the respective valve is bad, or 2) a debris screen is clogged in the hose connection port on the valve or at the supply faucet (if screens are there). I ran the diagnostic and got an error code of 52 -diverter valve error. Fault 52 is caused by water draining (when it shouldn't) during the Eco Active recirculation phase which triggers refilling to compensate ... OR can be related to the fill rate being excessively slow causing a water level top-up to take longer than expected ... which goes back to your first point. It's normal for one water level top-up to occur during Eco Active.

The retrofit fuse is legitimate. It's included with replacement pumps and boards. Common that a pump wet from leaking over time (even a slow drip, anything that gets/keeps the pump wet) can go to high (or low) resistance due to corroded windings and blow the motor board. The added fuse is additional protection on that point. The F&P electrical design is very sensitive to resistance valves among the various components. VERY important to NOT ignore a leak, replace a bad/suspect pump *immediately* to avoid more trouble. I am not aware of 3rd-party boards but I suppose it's possible. Thailand-sourcing may be legitimate, can't say for sure about that, either. All replacement boards from F&P are rebuilt boards, they are no longer producing "virgin" boards for older (Phase 6 and older) models. The current GWL11 replacement does have a different connector for the diverter than the original board ... could be there are more differences since the last info I have.
