How loud is your Blue Star convection fan?
Comments (9)Is it buzzing, vibrating or rattling or does it just sound like a fan? Mine sounds like a fan. I know it's when it is on, I can hear it. Sounds like a small fan inside my oven swirling the air around. Use your phone or a camera to make a movie and post it somewhere. Since you can turn the fan on without turning on the heat stick the camera right up on in there. No need to speculate! -Stooxie...See MoreBluestar convection fan noise
Comments (6)Hi Trevor, Thanks for responding...I'll give BS a call. We are using natural gas, not LP. Our Liebherr is the fully integrated with stainless doors (HCS 2062). I've called Liebherr and we're on a waiting list for replacement doors, but they don't know how long it will take. I was aware of the door issues prior to purchasing, but we were told it wouldn't be an issue. I know it will be fixed, the only question is when. As for the Miele...we hadn't been using a rinse agent. I just ran to the store and picked some up to try. I haven't gotten the user manual from our GC yet (I snagged the BS right away so I could get the white glove scheduled). I guess I have some reading to do! Thanks!...See MoreBluestar oven convection fan noise? Silent or like bathroom fan?
Comments (5)It's a fan so your probably going to hear it but it shouldn't be distracting. I've got a 30" Wolf convection and a Wolf steam oven along w/the 36 BS oven. Of the 3 the steam oven fan is the loudest, the 30" Wolf w/2 fans is 2nd and the BS is probably the quietest but you can hear them all. It probably has more to do w/their location in kitchen as to the relative noise level. The BS, being down low is probably quietest due to it's location behind the island, the steam is the highest oven in the kitchen and also the one we use the most but even it's noise is within acceptable kitchen levels. We can't really hear the D/W except when draining....See MoreConvection vibration noise on range
Comments (5)There was a relatively recent design change to the BlueStar convection fan. The original blades had a right angle bend in them: http://www.guaranteedparts.com/BLUESTAR-OVEN_SECTION/BS-600033.html In the new version, the fan blades are flat with a shallow pitch, like a regular house fan. I think that this design change reduces the potential for vibration....See Morebretonb
