I searched craigslist and came up with a couple of Lenovo thinkpads for sale. Do these sound good?

This is a new one. Not quite sure I want to spend this much, although I think there's an additional 10% off coupon I can use.

So I guess I'm asking two things. The more basic is what's the thinking about IBM and Lenovo Thinkpads. The few customer and cnet reviews I saw on Lenovo make them sound great. Are the Lenovo's considered good solid machines at better prices than IBM. And how do they compare to Toshiba's - which is what I'm used to for laptops. Should I be considering Lenovo?
The more specific is whether either of the specifics above seemed good.
Thank you.
Lynn.
PS - should I succumb to the hype that NOW is the time to buy a laptop for a good price with back to school specials - or will there be good specials if I take my time and research this for another few weeks or more.
