We've been happy with our Zephyr; we have the Anzio in the 30" size. This is a flattened pyramid. Lighting is nice and bright when I want it. The fan is operated by push buttons. I rarely use the high setting because it is the noisiest. For the small amount of time I use high, it is an acceptable noise level.

Thanks for your support peewee and don. If peewee does help people on this forum well that is good, but don't insult me by telling me to do something that any normal person would do. He could have asked if I'd turned down the brightness, but he didn't. If it was just a case of turning down the brightness I wouldn't have come to this forum in the first place. It's always nice to hear from idiots like you, don. For your information I don't enjoy being treated like an idiot as the peewee did when he answered my question with his one lined response. I think you are the reason people are driven away from this forum. How many others have you men(I can only assume you to be one after all with a name like don...but then I am only an idiot after all) treated like morons and then accused them of being the case of some rift? I have found some other knowledgeable people who answered my questions about my TV without considering me to be an idiot. Don't let the keyboard come up to bite your arrogant ass. Oh wait, go ahead let it.

No--my computer is wireless, so I figure not that much can get to it--although, I did turn it off when the worst of the storm was overhead. And yes, it was a glorious storm. The sunporch in the country house is glass floor to ceiling on 3 sides. I sat out here and just enjoyed the show. They were saying on the news there was some rotation, but no problems right here--just a good soaking for the garden. Sure am glad this didn't come with frost warnings here! I think we're well past that possibility now that we're living south of the Mason Dixon line--LOL!

mama goose that link takes you to a picture of what the page looks like with the Stylish extension - it's not a truly clear representation of what it would look like on your computer. I use Chrome and just added the Stylish extension - back to the old GW morning glories look!! There are now horizontal dividing lines between posts on every thread - a huge help. The type is crisper in the posts, although still greyed out as I'm typing this but that will change when I post the reply. On the main page for each forum the type is larger, darker and there is clearer delineation between the different threads - everything is MUCH easier to read for me. It's still a work-around and does NOT get Houzz off the hook IMO, but at least it's a temporary improvement and I can participate again.
