I am redoing all the baths in our house. I have the kids bath and powder room all set (mostly Kohler Bancroft, with others mixed in), but I'm at a loss with the Master. I thought I wanted an air tub, probably a Bain Ultra, but most people here say they're loud. This bath is above the kids bedroom, so nighttime noise *might* be a factor. What's the best quietest air tub? Or should I just forget it? Also, are extra jets in the shower worth it? How many? I love a rain shower head. Finally, faucets. Help! I cannot find anything (except really expensive ones) that my husband and I agree on. Any advice would help. Thanks, Gina

So happy to find this thread. I am deciding on a tub and was interesting in the V&A because of the material and that I generally like Rohl products. Mine will be a drop-in. I am looking at the Rossendale because it is longer (I have long legs) and it has a deep water overflow - also important when you are tall so that the top half of you doesn't get cold. I guess I was wondering if the material held the heat - I don't want to get a heater, like Kohler has. If not the V&A, I am not sure but I get the feeling that cast iron is better than acrylic or fiberglass for holding heat? I was happy to read that zookeeper93 says her tub has held up well. Plan2remodel, can you tell me why you like your Devon&Devon tub?

Watch out for the non slip bottom on tubs these days… our new Kohler tub bottom is impossible to fully clean. Read reviews everywhere. It’s so annoying. I’ve tried everything people can suggest. Magic erasers have worked the best but can’t clean what seems to have seeped into the nonstick areas.
