Miele Inspira v. Bosch Evolution 500 dishwashers...thoughts?

We had planned to go with the Miele Inspira 2141SC dishwasher, but for cost reasons, are re-assessing...if we go with an alternative like the Bosch Evolution 500, the dishwasher itself will be cheaper and it will be eligible for more rebates (for some reason, the Miele doesn't cut it for our local utilities' rebate programs).

So I'm wondering how these two models compare....I know the Inspira is the bottom of the Miele line, but it seems to have most of the features we need. The big feature the Bosch has that could be handy is the half-load cycle---if that actually works? We would get cutlery tray in either, and energy use is about the same. Water use is very different according to the feds---but our dealer says that's mainly a factor of how they measure, and less of a day-to-day issue if you run loads on normal most of the time. The Bosch has a slightly lower decibel rating, but not by much. We're looking at a $500-$600 cost difference between the two once rebates are factored in...is it really worth it for the Miele, or will the Bosch be comparable? (We are coming from not having a dishwasher at all, so have no real expectations one way or the other---just want a solidly performing model that will clean well and not break!)

Thanks!
