Two calls for an ice maker in a year doesn't seem extreme, but if the ice maker isn't repaired after the second call and the leak has the potential to cause damage to your cabinets or flooring, they might consider replacing it. I have found Lowe's to be reasonable. If you just have cold feet and are worried about future problems, you might ask them to extend the warranty to assure you that the problem will get a lasting repair at no cost to you.

I came across this, not sure if this applys to you. It deals with a corrupt index.dat file. I find it somewhat odd the computer only fails (Reboots) on login to the admin account and runs fine on the Limited account, how limited is the limited account? can you download from that account? It's (possible) you may be able to access the admin account in Safe Mode I would try it just to see if you can access it, then follow randy ca advice on system restore, these are just other things you can try if it turns out not to be heat related. When the machine first starts again it will generally list some equipment that is installed in your machine, amount of memory, hard drives installed etc. At this point you should gently tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with a Windows XP Advanced Options menu. 3. I've only read your first post so far, madtownwriter, so my opinion will only cover that. Not everyone will have to contend with a hard pan. (Are you meaning a hard pan due to machinery having driven over it? When a rotary hoe is brought in, as many are fond of doing, it crumbles the top layer and leaves a hard pan beneath that layer. This is not good at all.) So, where there is no hard pan, I agree with the link that says not to disturb the soil in the bottom of the hole. Info is often contradictory because so much depends on what is going on in the mind of the writer/talker, their imaginations running riot. Would you be keen on getting someone in to rip the area? This is a long, single thing that makes its way from the soil, rather deep, leaving a rather choppy mess I suppose behind it, but breaking a hard pan. Maybe it would be something that you'd rather not do as any neatness would be ruined. And you would have to fork over the entire area perhaps, afterwards, before planting. I've never had it done. I think the trees would love it though, when they find themselves in a garden which was ripped, then dug by hand, and lovingly planted. (Oh and you would have to know where things were underground. You don't want pipes and wires and other frightening stuff making an appearance.)
