If you were to go to free.grisoft.com and look at the page that compares free versus the paid version you'll see mainly that the paid version offers additional protection for spyware, maybe popups, and rootkits. There's other programs that offer spyware protection and rootkit searches available for free. Urlee... no they dont accumulate, they replace old with new files.

Last night on my machine with Windows XP, that I don't use that much, myy AVG picked up "Trojan Downloader Agent2.XDF". I don't understand... in the virus vault it shows up twice now with 2 different "Path to Files"....C:/Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\Unload\HPqPHUnl.exe and C:\System/Volume Information\_restore(8CAD4433-DD3C-4E57-9E68-C9D0ECFAC1E. Then last night when I looked in "Resident Shield Component it kept finding them...changed the setting to "remove all threats automatically". I ran Malwarebytes and it didn't find anything, then I ran SuperAnti-Spywares, cause that is what I have installed on that computer. It didn't find anything buy 81 adware cookies with I "fixed". Is the SuperAnti-Spywares not any good? Should I change to Spywareblaster? What do I do about the trojans? I did a search and couldn't find anything on that particular trojan. It also didn't show up in the AVG dictionary? I also ran scans on this machine and it is fine.
