Google images not working for me

The last few days when I go to google images to do a reverse image search it won't work. I click to browse and upload the photo from my computer and it just sits there spinning and won't upload, have left it 5min or more. Tiny eye is working fine but I prefer google. Is it me or them? Mary

I didn't know one could do a reverse image search. Reinforces that one should read all threads, even if the topic doesn't seem of interest - never can tell what can be learned.

Here are the links, I like google best as it seems to always find what I am searching for. I just booted up laptop and same thing, not working. I asked some friends online and no one else is having trouble with it so I can't figure out what happened as of a few days ago, it's very strange. I am sure I didn't touch any computer settings or anything. Mary

When it comes to security, though, isn't there something to be said in favor of FF + NoScript, esp. in light of all the dangerous things out there that use Java ? (I speak as a huge novice here.) Being able to selectively allow scripts with NoScript (which blocks all by default) is a bit of an advantage to other browsers with functions which only allow users to turn Java on or off. Or, in Opera's case, one can 'edit site preferences' to allow or disallow all scripts on a per site basis, but it's still allowing ALL scripts on a given site. One cannot select which ones to allow/disallow. Giving the user the ability to allow just a script associated with the main site while blocking all other unnecessary scripts from running is a boon for web-surfers, no ? I realize that there are some NoScript wannabees out there (NotScript, ScriptNo) which work with Chrome & Opera, but a lot of comments I read about them suggest they are not as user-friendly and not as efficient as the original NoScript, which (unfortunately for IE, Chrome and Opera users) only works with FF. How important should this matter be for chas045 and the rest of us when choosing a browser ?

Have you downloaded Google Chrome? The Google Earth website says it is required to run the new GE. On the GE website they have Earth for Chrome and they have Older Versions. Perhaps yours "upgraded" to a version that only works with Chrome. Or, have you kept up to date with the Windows 7 updates? Rather than resetting the computer back in time, you might check for updates and run those first. I've always had GE Pro and it is working for me. I have version 7.1.5.1557 built on 5/20/2015. Another place to download Google Earth is https://ninite.com/. I believe it gives you the non-pro version in a neat package. Run their package and the software is installed without you having to deal with any junk attached. I use Ninite for lots of hassle-free free software. What do you use Google Earth for? I am a local content creator for GE, so I am interested in how people use it. Here is a picture of what I do...I create the land ownership parcel lines and export the information as a Google Earth overlay file with internal links to other information.

That blue Seneca tile is beyond gorgeous! We are going with Calacatta Gold subways for our kitchen backsplash, but I am dying to go with a handmade ceramic on my fireplace or possibly my bathroom backsplash or SOMEWHERE in my house or patio ;) Thank you so much for sharing the photos of your beautiful kitchen. I also love color. If it were only up to me I would pick a beautiful Talavera/Mexican type of tile or one of the cool ceramic tiles that we see so much of nowadays. They are very popular here in California. My husband is much more conservative, so finding a compromise can be challenging. I love that that there are so many choices so everyone can have what she/he enjoys.

Boy, that is a new wrinkle with me too.

Mary, what browser are you using? Have you tried a different browser? Have you tried numerous pics?

I just tried one with Firefox and the Tiny Eye and it worked.

Tiny eye is working fine but I prefer google. Is it me or them?
I just tried it too with Google image search and it worked for me.

Using IE9 on both computers, haven't tried another browser as I don't have one on the desktop but guess I will install firerox and give it a try. Tiny eye I have no trouble with it's just google images and it started a few days ago and I just can't figure out what could have happened when everything else on the computer and online is fine.

I have used reverse image search for a few years now. I do needle work and I sometimes crome across one online on someones blog with no name so can usually track it down this way. Mary

Well it appears to be an IE problem as it works fine with firefox. Anyone have a clue on where to start? Mary

As of stoday it's back up and working so they must have worked out the IE glitch. Mary
